Brisas Del Mar Roatan

Perfect location for divers. Quiet clean rooms, lovey pool, fun bar and Cafe.
We loved everything about the place, except the menu. Too much fried food, and too few healthy choices.

We had the villa, suitable for - family of 4 (it had space for more, even). A full equipped kitchen, 2 separate bathrooms, excellent condition, enough towels and blankets and toiletries.
The pool was a door away and the AC worked amazingly.
We had a great time!!

We chose this location because we wanted to be within walking distance of the central roundabout in town, we wanted to have a pool and ocean access, full kitchen and we wanted two bedrooms with a washer and dryer - it was PERFECT for our family of four (we have a 20 year old and a 17 year old) - we we in Honduras for a dive vacation and this was an amazing price, location and condo for our needs.

We ate at the restaurant while staying at half moon bay. The food was exceptional! My husband has severe celiac disease. Great care was taken that every meal was prepared so my husband was never sick. Substitutions were offered to keep my husbands food gluten free!

Great staff and great location.
No TVs in the rooms. If you want to be watching TV at Roatan, you came on vacation to the wrong place. There is always something to do.
 Had drinks and food at the pool side bar/restaurant almost every day. Great prices with daily happy hour. Bucket of local beer (Silva Vida is great) for $15.
Will be back again.
Snorkeling from shore or a short kayak paddle to the reef (approx. 1/4 mile off the beach). Kayak's available for free at the Dive Shop for Hotel guest.

We absolutely LOVE Brisas Del Mar. My husband and I spent the last week here for our anniversary for the second time and we will be back! The staff accommodated us in every possible way and we cannot thank them enough! From the friendships we gained, to the peace and serenity we feel here, it is just a very special place. We miss you all already!

Staff was very nice & accommodating, tequila jacks restaurant was good. Beds very uncomfortable limited amenities.

It was our 2nd time in Roatan…would NOT stay anywhere else! The staff super friendly…all the guests are also friendly..can’t wait to go back!!!

Brisa’s Del Mar is fabulous! Located In West End Village, my husband and I appreciated the quietness of being beyond the busier part of the village which was only a very easy walk from our front door.
We stayed in the Sunset Pool Suite which had a big bedroom with sitting area and high stone bar with stools for working or cocktail hour. The bathroom was enormous with a large double sink vanity and extra counter space that lead to a private privy then to a huge double shower which then opened up to our own private balcony. The balcony was amazing with a deep outdoor bathtub, lounging area and private cold water soaking pool. Our view featured the sunset over the Caribbean Sea every day.
The resort grounds are lush and well cared for with a nice sized pool and lots of cushioned lounge chairs and poolside service. The beach out front of the resort was clean with more lounge chairs and umbrellas but without a lot of beach walker traffic that we saw at some of the other resorts along our shore.
Tequila Jack’s restaurant and tiki bar is on-site next to the pool and has wonderful food that will make you want to just stay there and eat every meal. There are good happy hour deals, live bands, Friday night bingo (with prizes!) and a general good vibe feeling.
The staff are friendly, personable, knowledgeable and very responsive. Any time we asked for anything, we got help immediately.
I could go on and on about so many things that I haven’t mentioned yet like the coral reef right out front, the on-site dive shop, the owner, Jack, who makes everyone feel welcome, and the thoughtful details that make this place more than a resort but a place that is loved and was built to make a vacation feel special but also like, well…. a vacation.
I can’t wait to go back!!!

Rooms
The rooms are spacious and well thought out. They are extremely clean and well maintained. Our king sized bed was very comfortable. The mini fridge and coffee maker were very nice to have. Bedding and towels were of nice quality.

Nearby Activities
We could walk to Luna Beach where we went horseback riding through the jungle then into the sea!
The on-site dive shop has scuba and snorkel outings daily and by request. You can even get scuba certified right at the resort.

Security
We felt very safe during our entire stay.
The resort has overnight security on-site for added peace of mind but we never felt uncomfortable.

Walkability
A short walk to West Bay Village and there are lots of shops, restaurants, and other activity offerings. There is even a grocery store or two.

Food & Drinks
The food and drinks at Tequila Jack’s is outstanding. The chef, Luis, is excellent and the menu has something for everyone. We had so force ourselves to go somewhere else for a meal or two because there was always something else we wanted to try on the menu.

Noteworthy Details
All the water throughout the resort is safe to drink. The included breakfast was delicious with many options.
The location is toward the end of the West End Village road so if you are looking for a nice but quiet place for your Caribbean vacation, this is the place.

All around awesome stay at the end of the road in West End. You know the owner is getting right when the staff come after and hang out with friends. Fun and relaxing place and great people there! Way to go Jack!

Brisas Del Mar is a great place to stay from the onsite bar and dive shop to the wonderful pool. The grounds are kept up very nice and the staff all so friendly and helpful.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay good location

We really loved this resort. The location was perfect - we could walk to all of the bars/restaurants in the West End in under five minutes and we walked along the beach all the way to the West Bay area. We loved the private beach with no vendors disturbing us. The pool bar and food is outstanding. And the service at the front desk and the pool bar was top-notch! It was always easy to get a lounge chair at the pool and/or beach. So why not five stars? Our room was ocean front, had a very comfortable bed, was super clean and had a beautiful balcony and view, strong Wi-Fi and mini fridge. For us, it was also very affordable.

But...there was no TV, although a TV was listed in the description for our room type. We were in 304 and the shower door would not close so water splashed all over the floor. Lastly, and this is not the resorts fault, there is a property nearby that has barking dogs. They don't bark constantly, but it was enough to disrupt one night of sleep for a bit. Overall, I would definitely recommend, as long as the small inconveniences listed wouldn't bother you.

Great resort, small, not crowded, with a beautiful pool, a good restaurant and bar plus a dive shop.

Our stay at Brisis Del Mar was wonderful! I would highly recommend staying here. The location is walkable to West End’s restaurants, bars, water taxis and Half Moon Bay. The resort has a beautiful pool and beach. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Every room has a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff is very friendly.

The property does not have television in the rooms. Also, the hotel should have icemaker and clothes dryers as this is a dive center and clothes are always wet.

Great hotel looking forward to coming back
