La cabaña tiene una estética linda.

Cons:

Sobre todo fue el mal servicio del personal, se nota que no tienen experiencia. Dicen que traen las llaves y lo olvidan, luego ni se disculpan. La comida tardó muchísimo en la noche y solo estábamos nosotros. Sólo la chica de la recepción es atenta, amable y hace bien su trabajo. Los demás y sobre todo los que se creen “los patrones” ni saludan, son muy arrogantes. La distancia entre las cabañas y la entrada al hotel (playa) es muy larga. Esto no hay forma de saberlo antes.

Tuve una gran experiencia.
Yo iba con mi hija. La segunda noche, nos encontramos a una perrita, cachorra en alto grado de abandono. Le ayudamos, le dimos algo de comida, y al día siguiente el hotel dispuso de la lancha para ir a Cartagena, llevar a la perrita al veterinario, y ayudarle. Estoy muy agradecido con esa gestión. Mi hija tiene 11 años y fue algo muy sensible para ella todo lo relacionado con "Arenita" (Ese fue el nombre que le dio al animalito). Ellas también están agradecidas, con la gestión del hotel. Hoy casi un mes después de nuestra estancia en este gran lugar, Arenita se ha venido recuperando, ha ganado 2 kilos de peso, está vacunada, desparacitada y vive con nosotros cerca de Bogotá.

La petite piscine devant le logement au top !! Petit dejeuner long mais copieux ! Tranquillité des lieux. Lit super confortable, avec une clim efficace !!

Cons:

Longue distance entre le logement et la plage (~10 minutes de marche). Plage envahi par les vendeurs embulents, donc on a passé notre séjour à la piscine (qui est top!) ! Personnel pas toujours pro (ne rend pas la monnaie sans la réclamer, regarde à la porte de l’habitation alors qu’on y est...)

Poor communication and a property in need of some TLC
Pros:

the hotel organised transport from Cartagena for us which was easy and fast, the room was nice and we got upgraded from a glamping pod to a cabin which was appreciated and the aircon was great. Unlike other reviews our room and jacuzzi was clean. The view from where the cabins are over Cartagena is nice. The breakfast was lovely!

Cons:

where to begin. We arrived and were shown to sit down at the main bar which is dirty, old and very loud. They were quick to take our payment and then no further communication- no “please sit here and enjoy yourself until your room is ready”, no “the bathrooms are there if you need them”, not even “here is the WiFi password”. We were harassed by pushy vendors. We ordered a hamburger which didn’t arrive for nearly two hours and was fine at best. I then asked if our room was ready to which they said yes , however it didn’t seem as though they would have come and told us that. We were shown to our room which still had someone cleaning it and we had to ask for a key to be able to lock it. Very minimal information given about breakfast/dinner/other things nearby/ no one showed us the pool which was hard to find as the property is huge.

The vibe at night was very strange as most people only come to tierra bomba for the day which we didn’t realise so there was no one at the bar/restaurant and nothing nearby. We decided to call it a night and went to the room where the WiFi is bad. This part is no the fault of the hotel but our neighbours in the next cabin decided to have a party all night and played loud music and were talking until 6am which due to the construction of the cabin meant it sounded like they were having a party in our room!

We have been staying in the cheapest hostel dorm accommodation, most of which has been vastly vastly superior to this place in terms of service and atmosphere. I would not recommend this place.

This place could be amazing with a few tweaks in communication and a little love to the property.

The wash basins were not working properly, the water was coming out underneath. No warm water, no shower gels or shampoos, not a single mirror, not very clean - lizard feces were all over the carpets and sheets, the whirlpool was on only on the first day, had to ask for beach towels constantly and that tool ages until they were brought to us

Animal droppings on bed - left immediately after arriving. In no world is this a 5* beach club

This is NOT a 5* beach club hotel. DO NOT BOOK. We arrived and immediately got the next boat back to cartagena mainland as it was not safe and the facilities were not what has been pictured. After relooking at the photos it looks like they are AI generated.

After walking for about 6 minutes up a beaten uphill track through a building site type enviroment we entered the room to animal droppings on our bed and next to the towels.

Staff immediately left with no instructions on where anything was, how to connect to the WIFI (chased someone down and they said no WiFi working) no phone in the room to call anyone for help, no idea on where anything was and was just expected to figure it out?

We are not princesses and travel alot so can definitely figure things out but for £170 a night (compared to Oz hotel which was 5* service for £85 a night) we were left completely confused on why booking.com has allowed this to be priced as a 5* beach club when it had no beach club or even a 3* rating.

We spoke to someone on WhatsApp who said to speak to booking.com for a refund but we couldn't as there was no signal on the island and the last boat was about to leave so left on the last boat and sat back on mainland booking a last minute hotel at 6pm on our honeymoon.

Do not bother booking unless the price is £50 a night and they change it to a 2* resort
