Don’t book! You will get canceled on! They just canceled our room for thanksgiving!! Booked through capital one and this place even confirmed a couple weeks ago now it’s gone?!
We just finished our stay at Kasa North Phoenix. We got nervous because we saw some bad reviews and there havent been many reviews in the last year. DO NOT be afraid to BOOK THIS! What a great experience. It is very self directed but the support is phenomenal. The apartment had a bit of wear and tear but it was nothing bad at all. It smelled good. The bed was so comfortable and it was stocked with everything we needed. And it was lovely to spend four days in a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen for our four days and it cost less than a hotel. WE loved it and will be looking for Kasa properties in the future. And the location was PERFECTION!!! Enjoy your next stay at Kasa.
The place smelled like hot trash. Could not breathe. Had to turn AC off and deal with AZ 110 weather. No refund. Offered another room at another property but came here in a business trip to be able to walk across the seeet. Towels were stained and broken things here and there.
The complex has amazing amenities, it was clean, comfortable and we would love to stay there again. Customer service was 10 out of 10!
Travel for work. Nice to have a place that is more like being at home.
I was reading other reviews about the directions and the only problem I had was finding the room from the parking garage. They also didn’t let me know you had to use the key fob to go to the second floor. I recommend going into the leasing office and getting a map. They were great. When we checked in the valet suggested I do that first but I was just being stubborn. The apartment was beautiful only complaint was they had very hard beds. Overall would probably stay again if it was a little cheaper.
It’s a great location, apartment is nicely furnished, comfortable and convenient
Don’t stay here. Not any sort of vacation rental. This is a giant apartment complex and full of full-time residents. The walls are paper thin and a neighbor’s music was coming through the wall. We tried to knock on the door, but no one answered. We contacted Kasa directly who said they would handle the situation in the morning. That’s a great solution to a noise complaint at 10:00 at night. We ended up dragging the mattress out of the bedroom and moving it into the kitchen … yes, we slept on the kitchen floor to escape the neighbor’s music. We complained again to Kasa and asked to cancel our remaining nights and issue a refund. Kasa refused because we’d booked on a non-findable rate. I tried to beg and plead with them about unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, as well as an inability to remedy a bad situation, as well as the fact that we were trying to sleep in the kitchen. Kasa still refused to cancel and refund us. While they did move us to a different unit, this second unit was smelly and still noisy. Although it wasn’t obnoxious music, we could just hear the new neighbor’s every movement. Bad place and a complete customer service failure. Total waste of money. Don’t stay here.
I was a little nervous initially about staying here because I saw some reviews that stated it was confusing to get into the building and to find your room. We didn’t have an issue at all. We were provided clear instructions that made it really easy. The price was great compared to most hotels in the area, and the amenities were fantastic. I would 100 percent stay here again and maybe even move here it was such a great stay
The location of the room to parking was confusing and the pool was closed and that was the reaso. Why we booked was to use the pool. No pull out couch for kids
The apartment itself was very nice. There were only about 8 clothes hangers and no dressers or drawers. A bit inconvenient but not a deal breaker. The building itself was horrible to navigate. Lack of signs in the hall ways to the garage, elevators, and the apartment was very irritating. The neighbor had a decoration outside their door which helped us find our way back. It took us a few days to learn our way around the building.
We are nearly at the end of our 5 nights stay in a two bedroom apartment with Kasa. Whilst we are still here, I thought I’ll add my feedback.
The pros - the apartment is lovely and well laid out. The toiletries were well stocked for our stay, I.e. toilet rolls, face tissues, body wash, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Used the body wash once, but didn’t like it (personal preference obviously), didn’t use the shampoo and conditioner so can’t comment. There’s a hair dryer in the bathroom as well.
There was sufficient cutlery and crockery, pans and cutting boards etc for cooking. There was dishwasher soap and washing detergent pods too.
The apartment is located in a prime location. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
The free parking in the apartment has been great to have. It was a bit of a maze to get from the different parking spaces to our apartment, but it became a game for my family with everyone trying to figure out the way. So we didn’t mind the maze.
The free coffee and hot chocolate in the club house was a lovely added touch to our stay. The pool tables and a couple of board games also available in the clubhouse was a great addition. Nice office area if you need to work as well.
The cons / what could have been better - We got room 2002 and as mentioned on here in one of the previous reviews, is probably the noisiest apartment to live in. The gym is just above the apartment and it tends to get noisy with sudden thuds, that sound like dropping of weights or placing them on the racks. Also, because the apartment is located in the corner of a junction, the master bedroom is very loud and noisy. Lots of people in their sporty cars clearly enjoy revving their engines as they leave the traffic lights and it’s well annoying when you’re trying to sleep.
This room definitely needs to have advisories in place because of the noise. Not the room to have if you need an afternoon nap or your jet lagged and need more sleep.
The swimming pool was closed since day one of our arrival. We were looking forward to having a swim and to relax near the pool in the afternoons but we had no prior information about this. Which was quite disappointing!
The shelves in both the walk in wardrobes and the laundry room needed a bit of a wipe.
Lastly, since there are two bedrooms, it would have been nice if one bedroom had twin beds instead of both bedrooms with queen beds. This is also personal preference, but with children that would be ideal for us.
That being said we will definitely stay at Kasa again 😊
Our stay was great! Our only small thing was we didn’t have hand towels in master bathroom…we also didn’t ask as we spent most time with family elsewhere. We took hand towels outa other bathroom (extra bathroom & bedroom not used). It was very nice otherwise. Thank you!!
Beautiful place BUT not recommended for 1 night only-!! very complicated set up to find your room-a map is needed-
The actual unit that we were given was absolutely nothing like the pictures. Run down couch, lump bed that looks like it was second hand. No island in the middle of the kitchen, just a high top table.
I contacted customer service and asked for a refund, we had been there for 15 minutes. Policy would not allow for a refund. We left and were contacted and hour later offering another place. We had already left the property and booked another.
Hotels.com/Expedia customer service was not helpful either. I sent in the pictures of the place and was told the layout was what I booked. I guess this is why using VRBO and seeing what you are actually booking is a better idea.
We got taken
Step by step instructions with photos provided for finding the unit. Excellent facilities. We needed to add parking part way through our stay and Kasa was very quick to respond by email and give us parking instructions. Location is in walking distance to beautiful outdoor malls and dining. Unit was large, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
I'm so happy I booked at Kasa Scottsdale North! Having a 2 bedroom apartment, with a full kitchen and washed/drier was key to a successful week! The price was 1/3 of local hotels with x4 the space! I'll be back!
Worst experience ever! Unit is just below a gym & the noise is unbearable, to top it off the so called client service was terrible! They had the audacity to suggest ear plugs as a solution?! Also, found plastic wrap over the smoke alarms? And carpet was covered in stains, just terrible. Couldn’t pay me to stay there!
The property was clean and well stocked with all the amenities you'd expect to find in your own personal living space. The only thing that I'd suggest is showing up during regular business hours so somebody at the front desk (leasing agent) can direct you to the space. The directions that were provided were not clear for me to gain access to the property because of the way the building is set up. The leasing professionals were extremely helpful. I also appreciated that there was a pool on the property, game room, and other amenities that I was welcomed to use. I would highly recommend staying at this property.
It was just a one nighter. I thought everything was a bit confusing. I would not recommend this. At least not at this time.
