Laura saves the day
Pros:

Bit of a bumpy start with my initial welcome and confusion around what was included with the room but I spoke with the lovely Laura who took my feedback it as intended and really went out of her way to help and make my experience what you'd expect from a Marriott hotel.
I can't speak highly enough of her and she really saved the trip for me.

Pros:

The hotel is located quite centrally and met all expectations as you would expect from a Marriott chain hotel. We stayed there during our anniversary and they kindly kept some sweets in the toom to congratulate us. It was a pleasant surprise for my husband. The room was great including all facilities.
We had a lovely stay overall and would love to visit again.

Cons:

Nothing. It was great.

Great base for an Inverness stay. Would stay again.

Newly renovated. Common areas really nice. Great location along the river. Breakfast was exceptional.

Cons:

The lights near the bed were not good for reading a book in bed. The stamp up lamp was also too weak for reading.
Could use better directions on how to operate the shower head
