The Leo Kent Hotel, Tucson, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Tristen with the valet service was great! He was eager to help and quickly responded when I had issues with retrieving my car because of an incorrect phone number. I’m highly satisfied with my stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at The Leo Kent! The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, with a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. One of the highlights of our visit was Jasmine, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. Her recommendations for local restaurants and things to do were spot-on and made our trip even more enjoyable. Exceptional customer service like hers truly sets this hotel apart. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Leo Kent to anyone visiting the area!

Have had an amazing experience at the Leo Kent! Rooms were great, amenities fantastic and service was impeccable. Particularly Jasmine at the front desk was extremely helpful with recommendations and anything we need and made the experience that much better. Definitely would come back!

The hotel is excellent as well as its St. Cruz restaurant and bar. The barman Connor was knowledgeable and fun to talk to, as were the others.

Absolutely recommend the Leo Kent which was a wonderful stop on our way home. Great fun spot for a cocktail. Valet (Nathan) warm and friendly along with great service!!! Our server(Hannah) was excellent! Hannah is very personable, professional and great service! The atmosphere is warm and cozy with comfortable leather chairs. Stop in and remember your credit card since they don’t take cash ! Check out this place for an upscale feel in downtown Tucson.

The rooms were lovely, and other than the morning housekeeping, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The service was extraordinary and memorable. Not since a wonderful trip to Florence at a Belmond property have I felt so well taken care of! Bravo! Standouts were David, Anthony, Kelsey, Ajah Hasha and Lana. One area that needs help is the room service in the morning. Long wait to get someone on the phone and even then had to call the front desk. To avoid this, because I was flying out early my last day, I ordered breakfast the day before, but it never came. Had a much less satisfying bagel at the airport. Despite this disappointment, it was still a marvelous experience. Thank you all so very much! I wish I had a way to return the favor.

Had excellent valet service from Damian! Went to an event at the restaurant and when I came out to get my vehicle he was very courteous and friendly. Walked me to my vehicle because it was late at night and I was dressed up and by myself. Felt very comfortable. Best valet experience I have had!

I am astonished at the service in the Leo Kent hotel. When I walked in I was greeted with the warmest welcome from the front desk and helped by Lana. She made my stay here absolutely delightful and hassle free, she took care of the needs I didn’t even know I had. Honestly would describe her as a genie with unlimited wishes. I would travel for 36 hours straight with no sleep and no food if it meant that I could stay at this hotel again for one night purely to be greeted by a smile that could brighten up the rest of your day from Lana.

Estephany was very professional and kind and love her energy that brings the room with kind vibes! She went big and beyond with guest! Love this high class Customer service.

I’m of two minds reviewing this hotel. First, the lobby and restaurant is very handsome, and the room is very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s everything you expect from a fine hotel. No qualms there.

However its location is on Congress Street. Weekend nights are when people cruise the street with exceptionally loud thumping car stereos, and car engines are purposely made to sound like jet engines. It’s everything they can do to be as loud as possible. The Leo Kent does not have windows that abate this noise and it continues well into the morning. In fact, the windows are “thin” enough that from the eighth floor at which I stayed, I could hear a baby crying on the street below. For the one night I stayed there was very little sleep.

If you *must* stay, then (without exaggeration) I recommend a strong sleeping pill and ear plugs. Otherwise if you just need to be near downtown I recommend something further afield like the Graduate near the UA. Although that’s not absolutely quiet either, it’s far better than being on Congress.

As much as I like the hotel itself, the location is horrible for any rest and sadly why I can’t recommend it.

Even though over the previous stay there were some minor mixups (that were fixed), the staff remembered me and promised an excellent stay. I honestly forgave and forgot, so to speak, but they made extra sure to remind me that they care. Thanks!

Service, very good!

The location of the hotel is very good, within walking distance to many quality restaurants and watering holes. The rooms were always clean and ready, although like every property, there is a noisier and quieter side. If you do ask, they will try to accommodate the request to their best ability. The drinks at the bar, while a bit on the premium cost side, were very good and service was perfect again. Other options nearby are plenty if you venture out. If you drive in, the parking cost is a bit on the high side, but the valet option is not much more so we went for that. Service was very prompt every tiime.

Bonvoy status is valued here as well as accommodations flexibility. Thanks again!
