Calla Luxury Seafront Suites

EVERYTHING!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about calla luxury seafront suites. Catia and Mickalis ( I may have spelled their names wrong) were amazing hosts!!! There hotel is small and you get top notch service. From the rooms to the patios and lobby the place is spotless. If you order breakfast from them it is a great deal with lots of food options. Full service bar in the lobby with a walk up window close to the pool area. Literally step across the street to a very nice beach with free beach loungers if you’re staying there, €10 if not, but your food and drink price go against that so it’s such a great deal even if you’re not staying there and want to spend a day there at the beach. The menu for the beach is extensive and we enjoyed it so much. Catia would bring us fresh fruit when we were sitting at the bar. She even gave us a small bottle of her family made olive oil to take home. Our room also had a hot tub outside the patio door which was really nice late at night. Also right next door to the hotel is a restaurant called Kai. They suggested we go eat there when we checked in as we were starving. We loved it so much we went all 3 nights late at night. Quaint, I met a girl during breakfast one morning and we spent a lot of time together and now keep in touch. Shes from the UK and I am a Canadian living in the USA. I can’t wait to return.

Alles war perfekt- vom Zimmer bis zum Frühstück und Strandzugang. Die Herzlichkeit ist unglaublich und wir waren traurig das Hotel zu verlassen

Beautiful, modern hotel opposite a beach with all the amenities you need. The place was very clean and the staff and owners were amazing and went out their way to help you in any way they could. The hospitality was exceptional. It was about 15-18 min walk to old town which we were fine with

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut! Man geht wirklich über die Straße und ist direkt am Strand, dort sind Liegen mit Schirmen direkt vom Hotel. Es ist sehr sauber am Strand und der Strand ist sehr schön! Am Strand hat man die Möglichkeit Getränke und Essen zu bestellen. Handtücher erhält man im Hotel. Das Personal vom Hotel ist unfassbar freundlich, die Besitzer sind täglich anwesend und sehr bemüht einem alles so perfekt wie möglich zu gestalten.
Unser Zimmer war im EG und hatte einen Whirlpool auf der Terrasse, was ein absoluter Pluspunkt war. Von der Bestuhlung und dem Whirlpool, der Bepflanzung und der Inneneinrichtung war wirklich alles so komfortabel wie möglich und so sauber wie möglich. Ich bin wirklich sehr detailorientiert und muss sagen, dass ich nichts zu bemängeln hatte. Ich hätte gerne mehr als eine Woche dort verbracht.
Die Distanz in die Innenstadt ist absolut machbar zu Fuß, wir sind abend gerne mit einem E-Roller gefahren, welche direkt vor der Unterkunft zur Verfügung standen.
An unserem ersten Abend hatten wir keine Lust in die Stadt zu gehen, weil es bereits spät war und direkt neben unserer Unterkunft war ein super Restaurant, wirklich hipp schick und modern.
10/10 für die gesamte Unterkunft.
Die Fahrt vom Flughafen Heraklion betrug ca 1 Stunde, was vollkommen machbar war, die Fahrt war super schön, der Weg war auf dieser Insel einfach super schön zu genießen.
Ich kann mich wirklich nur bei unseren Gastgebern für diesen ausgezeichneten Aufenthalt nur bedanken.

We just finished our stay at Calla Luxury Suites, and it was fantastic. We spent a lot of time looking at different hotels before our trip to Rethymno, and we're so glad we chose this one.
The hotel is nearly brand new, extremely clean, and very well done. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and spotless. You can tell the owners paid attention to every detail when they built the place. Honestly, the quality of the rooms and the overall property is better than many larger luxury hotels we've stayed in.
The location is great, right on the water with beautiful views. Old Town is about a 20-minute walk or a quick €7 taxi ride away. There's also a nice pool and seating area that's perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
What really makes this place special, though, are the owners. They were around every day, always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and things to do, and they genuinely wanted us to have a great time in Crete.
We're very happy we chose this small boutique hotel with only six rooms instead of one of the larger resorts. The personal touch made a huge difference.
I can't say enough good things about Calla Luxury Suites. It ended up being one of our favorite hotel stays anywhere. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our trip so memorable. We hope to come back again someday!

Super spacious suite with 2 full bathrooms and a nice balcony. The pool area is very nice and the beach service and chairs were very nice. Cooked to order breakfast is a nice touch.

Beautiful and private space.
Only 6 rooms and great personal service.

The cheaper rooms with Balcony are definetly the way to go. No need for a jacuzzi in my opinion.

For breakfast i would recommend Bora Bora next to it.

Tolle Lage, sehr schöne Zimmer, die Eigentümer und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner und entspannter Urlaub.

Wat een heerlijk hotel!
Perfecte, schone kamer met een geweldig uitzicht. Fijn zwembad met voldoende bedjes. Ook voldoende bedjes op het strand, waar soms ook bedjes voor ons apart werden gehouden als hotelgasten. De bediening op het strand was ook perfect. Heel aardig personeel en we werden echt verwend.
