The location was super great. Love it!

Standardunterkunft im Ximen Distrikt
Pros:

Guter Standard. Zimmer sauber, bequemes Bett

Cons:

Ich kam bereits am Vormittag an (Übernachtflug) und fragte nach einem Early Check In. Der Preis dafür betrug beinahe dem normalen Übernachtungspreis (für 5 zusätzliche Stunden). Das Zimmer ist eher klein und schaut auf ein Fassade. Die Gegend ist abends sehr lebhaft, tagsüber eher tot.

I highly recommend it if you are in town for a night or two!
Pros:

We stayed one night since we had a 21 hr layover in TPE. The room was spacious, bathroom and shower was clean and it was a reprieve to have clean hot water after being in Bali for two weeks. It was easy to travel to from the airport metro and we were centrally located to all of the things on our to do list. They even held our luggage while we toured the city.

Cons:

No recommendations from my end. It was a great stay for a great price. I would stay longer if I were in Tapei.
