Made me rethink when choosing high-scoring stay.
Pros:

Good location as it was between 2 main metro stations and in the vicinity of shopping district. The room was relatively new.

Cons:

I brought to the attention to the staff how the room smells like cigarette, but was immediately dismissed by staff as "cologne". Since it is only "cologne", a room change was out of the question. He offered to deodorise my room by running an ionising air purifier for full 20 mins, as if to punish me for asking. The odor was indeed gone, only to be replaced by pungent ozone. Out of concern of my own health, I forfeited the second night of my stay.

Convienent location
Pros:

The location was the best! Everything within Ximending was walkable from the hotel.

Cons:

The rooms were on the smaller side for our family, but they had a common lounge space for their guest on the 15th floor which was really nice when we wanted to bring foos back to eat. We also hung out on the 15th floor while waiting for our room since our flight arrived really early in the day before check in.
