The Columbus, GA Hampton Inn on Broadway is a highly recommended 5 star stay that made my day bri 😁
Pros:

I highly recommend the new Hampton Inn in downtown/ Uptown area for a truly relaxing 5 star stay. Indeed, the "heavenly mattress" & wonderful bed facilitated the best sleep I have had in a year 🤍. In addition, the hot breakfast was awesome. Food items included scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, grilled potatoes; and a great variety of delectable scones, bagels, bread, and condiments. Juices included strawberry mango, orange, and apple. Hot beverages included a choice of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, with an assortment of creams & sweeteners (honey, brown sugar, Splenda, cane sugar, ...). The dining room was immaculate. The waffle maker area was popular. Indeed, the delicious aroma of hot waffles was a solid gold hit.

It was my 1st stay; but will not be my last. Plus, the location is close proximity to the scenic River walk, CSU Fine Arts campus, the Springer Opera House Theatre, new Government Center, lofts, restaurants, galleries, museums, historic churches, and boutiques. Public transit, METRA 🚌 is also accessible. In sum: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars. Shout out to the Guest Relations staff including rising star Elantra.

Perfect location. Plethora of places to eat without a drive, beautiful downtown and river walk, best fitness center I've seen in a hotel.

The room was good but checking in did not go smoothly and no apologies were even made.:(
Pros:

Great location. Room was fine. Bathroom was very nice. The gentlemen who worked the front desk were nice and helpful.

Cons:

I DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT YOUR STAFF CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD BEFORE I EVEN ARRIVED. Nope that was not cool. The front desk had new people and there was confusion and we weren't properly checked into our room so our keys weren't working properly and wifi wasn't working but we did get it straightened out. I had asked for a quiet room and ya'll put us across from the cafe. That was odd. No view from the room - but the brick wall we were looking at was nice. LOL.

Pros:

It smelled so clean and fresh from the moment you walk in. The staff was always friendly. The location was perfect. We could walk to the river, shops, and food.

Cons:

Not a fan of the breakfasts. I'm very very picky though.
