Situación muy cerca de la plaza dei Miracoli, hotel con encanto y con un bonito jardín, en una zona tranquila. La habitación estaba muy limpia y ordenada

Top für eine Nacht in Pisa

Schönes, aussergewöhnliches Hotel in top Lage.

Cons:

Das Familienzimmer liegt nicht im Haupthaus sondern in einer Art Gartenlaube auf dem Parkplatz. Obwohl es schön eingerichtet ist und man eine kleine Terrasse vor dem Eingang hat, nimmt es trotzdem ein wenig den Charme des Hotels, der Preis ist daher auch etwas zu hoch angesetzt.

On the whole we had a lovely stay in the Rif hotel and would stay again.
Pros:

The hotel’s location was great. It was in the old part of the city and only a few minutes walk from the ‘Leaning tower’ and plenty of dining options. This did mean it was a good 30 minute walk to the main train station for day trip travelling to some other destinations, but that was fine for us and gave a good opportunity to see other parts of Pisa. Having read a number or reviews about not choosing hotels near the train station due to problems at night (eg pickpockets, drugs users etc) we were happy with staying further away. The staff at the hotel were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size but quite old fashioned in terms of decor. The sound proofing in terms of outside and internal noise was not great on either side but that didn’t bother us too much. The breakfast options weren’t great. There were two options - Italian option 8 euros each per day or the full menu at 18 euros each per day. As the full option only included some hams, cheeses and boiled eggs we decided to opt for the cheaper option as much better value -not quite the range of fruits, cereals, breads which we received elsewhere but nonetheless satisfactory. We stayed there 4 nights and on the whole had a nice time. We would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

Breakfast options could have been better eg croissants only available one day and only two cereal options. Also we had to ask each day for milk for the cereals as none was readily available which I found quite unusual. A cooked breakfast option would have been nice (but perhaps I’m expecting too much from a relatively small hotel!)

Great hotel
Pros:

A lovely friendly welcome, a fantastic location, comfortable room. We loved the garden and informal dining area.

Cons:

Very noisy. Voices really carried through the building. We were on the ground floor, so conversations of everyone in the reception area were particularly loud.

Perfectly acceptable stay in a clean and well located

Good location near to main sites. Staff were very good in looking after my camera which I left behind- collected on my way back through Pisa. Thank you.
