Mint House Nashville – The Gulch – Division St

The rooftop terrace with seating areas, view, pool and hot tub were easy to access and made the stay worthwhile. The apartment was well laid out and spacious enough for 1 or 2, but sparsely supplied.
The floors and couch pillows were not clean, and the bedroom needs black out blinds. With nice touches this would be a perfect place to stay.

I did not receive the code to the building or our room in the hour before check-in as promised. I had to reach out to Mint to get the instructions and then they were provided in a timely manner. Our door did not lock and I felt vulnerable during our stay and did not go exploring like I had intended. I reached out to Mint and they sent a maintenance person to fix it. They stopped by and said that they would need to change the lock. They never returned to change it. I would not stay there again, unfortunately. On the bright side: the pool and hot tub were great and the apartment was spacious. Would have rated it higher if they could have either: fixed the lock or changed our room.

It was too loud as our suite waa facing the highway.
Water in the shower was not draining properly and in other room the bedroom light wasn't working.

Location wise it was great.

The property was excellent and in a really great location however we were left in limbo on arrival as we we not sent the door codes to gain access to the apartment on time.
We only gained access approx 6 hrs later after numerous autochatbots online, emails and calls (one of which was on hold for nearly an hour at international rates!)
It was n9ot a good start to our break!

No front desk, no new towels, floors were slightly dirty, would have rather stayed somewhere else

Other than that, the space was perfect. The pool was amazing.

The building and unit were quiet, with multiple dining options within walking distance—quick drive/rideshare to downtown and other attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable. The unit had a full-size washer/dryer, which was a nice convenience.

We arrived at the Locale the Gulch ( now the Mint House Nashville) on July 25th, 2025. The first issue we ran into was the entrance to the building, which is through the garage for some reason. As we walked up to the door, the smell of garbage and urine made a terrible first impression and made the space feel neglected and unsanitary. There were strange stains throughout the garage and I can only assume some of it was from people letting their dogs relieve themselves right outside the entrance door (see photo with blue wall).

Once we did get into our suite, I Immediately noticed the dirty condition of the floors in the small kitchen area. Absolutely filthy, I took a paper towel, wiped a small corner and it came up black with dirt and bits of food - Clearly no one bothered to clean properly before our arrival. It was disgusting and unacceptable, we considered leaving and staying elsewhere but it was late and we were tired. If basic hygiene was not being taken care of, it makes me wonder what else was being neglected. The walls in the kitchen were also dirty and had not been cleaned in a while, and the carpet in the walk in closet had all sorts of random stains. Then there was also the black mold in the shower. After a text or two to the management team, they did send someone back the next day to do a better clean the next day.

Pool is fantastic and the location is great.

There was large chunks of black mold in the shower and clumps of hair left. The location is also very noisy along a very busy highway. Sleep was hard even with ear plugs and a sound machine. The pool was great and location good for walking.

Great stay. Nice one bedroom apartment with an awesome roof top pool.

Perfect stay - clean and very modern apartment.

The property was decent. It’s an ok alternative to whole house rentals without all the check out activities but it was more expensive so not sure the trade off was worth it.
The shower was gross, the couch was small and not very comfortable. There were no extra blankets in the apartment. Only one TV so if you’re with multiple people looking for some down time between activities I hope you all want to watch the same thing.
The kitchen was clean and it was nice to have a good stock of coffee to get us through our first morning. There was plenty of dishwasher and laundry detergent. Pool towels and extra bath towels were available. The beds were hard at first sit but they are memory foam and I found them comfortable for sleeping.
We did use the pool on Saturday and it was spring break chaos. Young adults living their best life, music blaring, and beer and seltzer cans everywhere. This is a regular apartment building so just know if you’re a family with young kids… the pool may not be where you want to be on the weekend.
Also, know that this building is in a popular area of downtown. It is noisy at night especially on the weekends. The restaurant across the street had music bumping until pretty late Saturday night. I slept fine because we also run our sound machine but some others in our group were bothered by the constant noise.

DO NOT BOOK- Had the worst sleep ever in the 1 bed apartment. It overlooks an eight lane motorway and the blinds do not stop the light, the traffic noise and car /lorry lights are constant and if you do manage to sleep then the bin lorry comes at 3am to wake you up- EVERY NIGHT !!
The management company do not care and the description of this particular apartment is not accurate - carpets are filthy and the only redeeming feature ws the bed was a comfortable.

The highway noise of the unit I was in made it prohibitive to sleep and I’m not at all a sensitive sleeper. I checked out a night early and found other lodging that was quiet. Additionally there were personal items left behind by previous guests which was unsettling although the unit was otherwise clean. I won’t stay here again because of the noise.

We had a wonderful time. The place we stayed was a great location. Again, we had a great time and loved where we stayed
