Hotel Voilá Getsemaní

Excelente localização para um hotel boutique. Quartos muito confortáveis apesar de haver ficado no último andar e não contar com elevador. Café da manhã poderia ter mais opções.
Pessoal do hotel é extremamente gentil e ajuda muito com as informações necessárias para seus passeios

El hotel es un lugar encantador. La ubicación es muy buena, permitiéndote disfrutar de la vibrante atmósfera de la ciudad. El personal es muy atento y amable, lo que hizo de nuestra estadía una experiencia muy grata. ¡Altamente recomendado para quienes buscan comodidad y encanto en el corazón de Cartagena!

Le séjour a été excellent. J’ai séjourné au Voilà Getsemani lors de mon séjour à Carthagene et j’ai trouvé le lieu fabuleux et dépaysant dès lors que nous poussons la porte de l’établissement. Le personnel était incroyable, serviable et attentionné.

Great location, ceilings pretty high. Took awhile for the AC to get cool. I do understand it is Colombia and the tropical climate does make it a little longer for the relief.

Such a great location , ambience, and breakfast. Loved that it was not in the wall city, but you’re so close that you could walk(5 min) . Very clean. Gudi and staff were amazing . Definitely will be booking again.

This hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location. The staff is helpful, and the breakfast is truly delicious. My room was exactly as pictured and very attractively decorated. I enjoyed my stay there.

Issues include common features of travel I think to this area, and maybe certain structures in really warm climates. The windows do not have glass, which is unsettling if you are not used to it. There was a shutter that could allow anything in. The room can get very stuffy, if it is not aired out between guests. I think staff shut the shutter on the window, and turn off the air com, so with the older architecture, it can be musty, which takes a day or so to air out. I experienced this as well in a boutique hotel in Mexico City.

The area is VERY LOUD. They do provide earplugs, but I just got used to it, and got very good sleep there. My bed was super comfortable. I could also hear a lot of noise starting at about 8 am, but I am not sure if it was guest noise or workers. It didn't really bother me, but if you are a light sleeper, I would avoid this hotel.

The room was very clean, but could have used some spot cleaning of the walls. There was also a cobweb in my shower. Nothing major, but it could be ramped up.

There are intended holes in the walls of some of the rooms (for ventilation I am sure), and the glass or plastic put in place to cover them was broken in some rooms. I actually moved to another room, because this seemed unsafe to me. They should cover these with bars.

Not bad location or price, but unless you’re out in the clubs until 2am, you will have trouble sleeping with the club across the street blasting super loud music

This hotel has the potential to be excellent. There were some small issues. Lighting in the room is a bit dark. One of the lights was out and it took a couple days to change the light bulbs. The other was there was a big line in the middle of the television. Good thing we were there not to watch television. Not having elevators after a long day of walking around the city can be draining as well as lugging your luggage.
