Bon hôtel au cœur du vieux Kampala
Pros:

Si vous voulez être immergé dans la trépidante vie des ougandais, vous devez choisir cet hôtel dans l'hyper-centre du vieux Kampala. Si vous préférez être au calme avec les touristes et les expatriés, allez sur les collines de kololo ou nakasero. Nous avons passé 2 nuits ici et nous en garderons un bon souvenir. Le personnel est très accueillant, le parking est sécurisé bien qu'il faille se frayer un passage au milieu du marché pour y arriver. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses avec ascenseur. Salle de bain avec un bon débit d'eau, eau chaude. Bon petit déjeuner, très bon café. Vous êtes en plein centre, idéal pour se baigner dans l'ambiance à pied, bien sûr, c'est assez bruyant. Une bonne expérience 😁

Chambre spacieuse et très correcte

Cons:

Ma chambre donnait sur des gros chantiers d'amenagement tournant 24/24.
Je sais que l'hôtel n'y est pour rien, mais se faire réveiller à 2h du matin par les marteaux piqueurs, ce n'est pas agréable. Si vous réservez demandez une chambre au calme qui ne donne pas sur le chantier.

The friendliness of staff

Cons:

Too much noise from the street. Most electronic/tech things were half working, including the credit card POS machine which didn’t work when we checked out. They let us go, thinking the payment went through but didn’t, so they sent the driver over again and asked us to pay cash, which we had to take from the atm.

Lovely ambience, nice breakfast, great collection of books to browse, great view of city from roof..Very friendly and welcoming staff

Cons:

The endless soccer matches on big screen in restaurant with nobody watching. This is an opportunity to showcase the best of Uganda nature..Lake Victoria, Rwenzori Mountains, gorillas etc.
Also, 1970's jaded British pop or modern boy band muzak is very off-putting. Again, please showcase the best of African music: Salif Keita, Rokia Traore, Bombino, Ondare etc.

Pros:

If you decline a room cleaning. They will still come in after you leave. Reasoning was not justified but came with excuses on why she came in. I had cameras inside the room. She stared at my personal items but thankfully she did not take anything.

Als je van een drukke levendige buurt houdt, is dit de perfecte locatie.

Cons:

Bij het afrekenen moet je goed opletten. Ze rekenden andere prijzen dan op Booking was geboekt. Na een opmerking hierover, corrigeerden ze het zelf gelukkig snel.

Lovely staff but don't recommend for solo female travellers.
Pros:

Staff were kind and helpful, particularly the morning security guards and reception staff. Nice size room. Lots of storage space. Relatively quiet inside considering how busy the area is.

Cons:

Didn't feel fully safe as a solo female traveller. Room phone rang at 4am. Door didn't seem to lock properly. Area was busy and crowded - was advised by multiple locals not to walk around alone even to the mall and took me an hour to find an uber willing to come. No mosquito net over the bed.
