Very pricey for a bare bones facility

There was no chair in our room.

For me, it was pretty much perfect. Not having a shower curtain in the shower was different but not a dealbreaker. I would say keep your towels and belongings away from the shower while you’re taking one I feel like the slope tile could’ve went out maybe a foot further to keep everything a little more dry but I like the concept.

We’ve stayed at this hotel three times before and always had a great experience, which is why we decided to book a nicer room for this visit. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing.

On our first night, as we were settling into bed, we discovered a black widow nest in the bed frame. This was obviously alarming. To their credit, the staff did accommodate our request to move rooms right away. However, the second room was far from an upgrade.

The shower leaked badly, leaving a huge puddle of water on the bathroom floor after every use. The shower head also dripped constantly throughout the night. We notified the staff, and while they said maintenance had looked at it, nothing was actually fixed. The dripping continued, and the bathroom remained a mess.

In addition, the room felt very small and stuffy, especially considering we paid $800 expecting a premium experience. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards we experienced during our previous visits, which makes it even more disappointing.

We really wanted this trip to be as enjoyable as our past stays, but unfortunately, this time it fell far short of expectations.

Originally booked for a different weekend, canceled and booked for the night we went. Still waiting for refund on original booking. Room did have some ants.

The doors are on springs and slam kind of loud but that’s it.

Sounds like there was a leak or something that caused a constant drip sound behind the wall of the bed. Bathroom faucet was cool but sink too small for it so adjustments needed to be made to prevent spilling water (minor issue)

The communal spaces were cold. And, there is no one around to ask questions or comment on the temperature.

The room was a bit small, and the ventilation was not great. I had to open the window to help get some cooler and fresher air, so I was subject to some road noise. Fortunately, the street was not busy until the morning traffic. My room was just across from the self-service kitchen. I only coincidentally ran into hotel staff, and I informed them that the emergency exit map on the door incorrectly identified where my room was relative to exits.
