Disappointed.
Pros:

Location was very good.

Cons:

First room I was given did not have a window, and no advance notice was given. No one was on site, so all issues had to be addressed via phone calls with off-site agency. On 2nd day, I was moved to a room with a window and outdoor area. Much improved. But the check-in process and original room assignment was very off-putting.

Pros:

It is on the ground floor and has only the window on the ceiling, but everything else was very good. There is a very good restaurant too.

Avoid the 4-person room. It doesn’t comfortably fit four people. We ended up booking another hotel.
Cons:

The sold it as a 4 person room, but there was no way we could fit in with the 4 of us. I had to book and extra room at another hotel. Pretty bad experience and felt as a rip off tbh.

We probably wouldn’t stay there again. We paid over $300 a night for very basic accommodation.
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Nice little kitchenette. Close to all the shops etc. also was quiet.

Cons:

No window was our biggest issue. Leaky and moldy shower. Weird entry through a restaurant. Not really a hotel with staff to talk to. Not what we expected.

We had an incredible stay in Iceland and would recommend Hotel Vera to adventuresome travelers!
Pros:

Great location in a walkable city. We actually loved the experience of walking through a restaurant to enter the elevator to our third floor rooms; very unique! The food and drinks we had at the restaurant were amazing and delicious.
The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage spaces.

Cons:

We booked two rooms and stayed 10 days. While we were fine buying our own coffee pods throughout our stay (4 were provided in each room), it was interesting that clean towels, toilet paper and trash removal would have cost us $44ish each time needed. We opted to buy our own toilet paper, wash our own towels and take out our own trash for much less. Money wasn’t the issue, we spent plenty in this amazing city, just felt the $3300+ we spent for the hotel should have covered basics as well.

Posizione comodissima alla via principale della capitale con locali, negozi e ristoranti.
Grandissimo lucernario con bel bagno di luce (che è semplicissimo da usare sia per l'apertura che per oscurare la camera).
Cucina nuova e attrezzata

Cons:

Parti comuni un pò usurate dall'utilizzo.
Lavandino scomodo, ma lo standard che ho trovato in Islanda era quello...

Schönes Zimmer mitten in Reykjavik
Pros:

Das Zimmer war riesig, sauber und die Lage war nicht zu überbieten. Der Kontakt mit dem Hotel verlief super und die erbetenen Kissen wurden direkt vorbeigebracht.

Cons:

Die Fenster sind nicht schallisoliert, so dass man alles hört, was auf der Straße passiert.

Very comfortable, functional and centrally located!
Pros:

Great location for sightseeing and restaurants. And it was nice having a little kitchen and table for eating, especially breakfast — the Nespresso coffee maker and coffee pods was a nice surprise!

Cons:

The keyless entry system was a bit of a challenge at first, but got easier. The staff was responsive when help was needed.
