Best stay in a long time!!

We just got back from Sand and Tan and I'm still thinking about it.. Hotel is less than five meters from the ocean, you fall asleep to waves and wake up to waves. Best sleep I've had in ages.

A cold river flows into the ocean right next to the hotel so you can swim in both, the river keeps the water nice and cool compared to other beaches around.Really special...

Food was amazing, local food is on Point !!!! Also get the burger, the fish burger, and don't skip the curried seafood boil, unbelievable...fingerlickinggood..

. Sandra makes the best cocktails at the bar too.
There's a fisherman's village around the corner that does bamboo rafting, we did that one afternoon and loved it...

Ocho Rios is close by so getting around is easy.
We're already planning to come back asap

Cons:

That my stay ended and i had to leave. ..we will be back sooon !

Big up Sand and Tan team !!

This was such a real Jamaican experience from start to finish ! The rooms are nice n comfortable, clean and exactly what you need, we spend most of our time outside anyway....

Staff were super Amazinn, always smiling and plenty vibes.., verry attend ...

Spent so much time on the water right in front of the hotel, took the paddle board out and just floated around for hours....amazing .... Such a nice way to spend the mornings.

The local food full a flavor, proper Jamaican cooking, and there was music playing that just puts you in the mood, real Jamaican yaard vibes!! . Between the food, the music, and the ocean right there, ... im in love with Jamaica now !!

Sunsets from the hotel are gorgeous too, we sat out most evenings just watching the sky change colors over the water. Great value for what you pay honestly.

Great for one nights, if day passes feel too short!
Pros:

Breakfast was really good, the room was spacious, the bed was quite comfy, loved the amenities provided, spent one night so it was not bad at all, enjoyed how relaxing the beach was! No complaints :>

Cons:

No complaints tbh, but yeah, I recommend a bin in the room and not only the bathroom.

Wenn wir ehrlich sind, nahezu alles!
Wir waren total Enttäuscht.
Dieses Hotel ist definitiv KEINE 4****, höchsten 2**
Es liegt im hinteren Eck einer Schmuddel Straße, wo komische Typen rumlungern.
Wir als Frauen fühlten uns nicht sicher.

Der Parkplatz ist eine Katastrophe, das Hotel total in die Jahre gekommen.
Keines der Internet Bilder ist aktuell.

Putz blättert, offenbar gab es einen Anstieg des Meeresspiegels, es gibt keinen Strand direkt vorm Hotel.

Das schlimmste war diese Bar, àtzende bummernde Musik, in einer perversen Lautstärke.
Zimmer sind so einfach und billig, 0 Schallschutz

Das Hotel ist für Westliche Reisende 0 geeignet.
Für Kinder schon Mal gar nicht.

Kaum verlässt man das Hotel wird man àtzend von Jamaicanern angelabert, es war furchtbar, Nie wieder.

Photos very misleading
Pros:

The location looks great as does the photos, until you drive up to the property. The photos used to advertise the property are very different!

Cons:

It felt unsafe with men knocking on the car windows on the road, no proper parking to leave car safely, lady on the beach making us uncomfortable, room different to pictures and very dated. Door locks didn’t look secure.

Pros:

The view! All the rooms are with the balcony and a beautiful sea view. We enjoyed the evenings with a dinner served on our terrace on the ground floor. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is very quiet located just right next to bamboo rafting. Dont be scarred with the street entrance, is not very appealing. But the hotel and staff is wonderful.

Cons:

Our room has a bit of a smell like a stuffy room
