19:00ごろ宿に戻ると鍵(部屋ではなく宿)が閉められていて部屋に入ることができなくなり荷物をとることも寝ることもできなくなった。また、少しベッドで寝ただけで多数の虫刺され(おそらくダニ)による被害があった。

Arkadaşlar pis leş gibi otel zaten Mısır'da normal sıkıntı burada değil, otel inşaat halinde mi yapılıyor mu belli değil zaten şantiye gibi bir yerde pisliğin içinde 3 koca kat çıkıyorsunuz anca en yukarda . Tuvaletlerde taharet musluğu yok diyeceğim başka da bir şey demeyeceğim dilim varmıyor

Il y a des travaux dans l’immeuble qui commencent très tôt le matin, impossible de dormir.
Il y a beaucoup de poussière, aussi bien dans l’immeuble que dans la chambre.
Le bruit est constant : voitures et travaux jusqu’au dernier soir, parfois jusqu’à 3 heures du matin à l’extérieur.
It was an unusual stay. The hotel is in a beautiful old building under renovation. I had to change rooms because of some problems in the first one, but the receptionist was very helpful. I stayed in a huge room with a great view. It will certainly be a great hotel when it's finished.
It was very difficult to find the entrance; I had to pay a young man to take me to the correct entrance and to carry my luggage because, due to the construction, there was no elevator available.
The shared bathroom has broken locks and door handles. There is no way to lock the door from the inside.
You get what you pay for and this property is cheap, BUT if you've never experienced downtown Cairo its in a great spot (once you find it). 3rd floor in the alley behind Krispy Kreme/KFC/pizzaHut. The night guy Gabriel is awesome. Dont expect a luxury resort for $20, but it had COLD AC, Drinkies is down the road for beer and they let us store it in the staff fridge. The buildings like 500 years old.

The hotel has no lift, just stairs up to 3 floors.

location is so central in the middle of Downtown cairo, where many restaurants, shops, Cafes , Transport and subway station are nearby.
The Gresham Hotel in Cairo is a 10/10 for price and location. The only downside is the stairs to the third floor, which may be tiring for kids or elders, but fixing the lift would make it perfect. Special thanks to Karim, Miriam, and the great staff for their excellent service!
There is no lift .. very bad location
Great hotel in itself, great staff, high security and clean.
The access involves a small street, which may scare some, and the stairs are quite dirty, but the hotel is very safe, hidden behind protective doors.
