The whole experience was wonderful, in the centre and near the beach! Perfect location. The hotel was beyond expectations.

Very comfortable and friendly hotel on a quiet location
Pros:

I wanted to treat myself and booked a suite at this hotel for my stay in Tropea.
Naturally, I stayed there very comfortably, actually luxuriously.
The suite consisted of a bedroom (with a double bed), a living room, a bathroom, and a small entrance hall.
There was also a terrace with a drying rack. View of the sea (in the distance).

Furthermore, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a minibar were available. Well-functioning air conditioning.
All areas were very neat, sufficiently spacious, and comfortable.
A special mention goes to the very friendly ladies at the reception who answered every question immediately and solved any minor issues right away. They also spoke fluent English.

Extensive choices at the buffet breakfast.
The staff at breakfast were also very friendly (only Italian-speaking, but that wasn't a problem).
Every room had its assigned spot in the breakfast room for the duration of the stay.

The suite was cleaned every day.

Hotel location: within walking distance of the train station, the sea, and many restaurants.

Please note that Tropea is very popular, including with foreign tourists. Book well in advance.
This hotel is highly recommended.

Pros:

Perfektné ubytovanie v srdci Tropea. Pešia dostupnosť do centra aj na pláž. Krásne čisté izby, moderne zariadené, skutočne milý personál, ktorý bol nápomocný a ústretový v každom smere. V deň odchodu sme potrebovali skoré raňajky až hodinu skôr než majú zvyčajne. Bez problémov nám pripravili raňajky a boli naozaj bohaté. Skutočne výnimočný pobyt s úžasnými ľudmi.

Všetko bolo super.

La ubicación y la habitacion. Desayuno normal.

Cons:

La recepcion cierra a las 21. Si te sucede algo tenes que llamar a un número y no atienden rápido. Estabamos en 1er piso y ss siente mucho el ruido de la calle

Ein tolles Hotel, geführt von netten Menschen - wir kommen gerne wieder!
Pros:

Das Solmaris Tropea liegt nur ein paar Minuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Die Zimmer sind groß, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber! Das Frühstück war prima - aus unserer Sicht fehlte nichts, sogar der Kuchen wurde in der einsehbaren Küche vom Küchenteam frisch und mit Liebe gebacken. Elisabetta und Ihr Team waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alle wesentlichen Informationen kamen bereits vor Anreise auf‘s Handy. Aufgrund unseres sehr frühen Fluges waren wir deutlich vor dem Check-in im Hotel, trotzdem konnten wir bereits ein Zimmer beziehen - Kosten wurden hierfür nicht berechnet!
