A small gem on the west side of the old town. Owner lives on site and is a very nice and friendly guy. The rooms are pretty new and super clean and the snack station is impressive for such a small establishment.

We LOVED the Nine Kai Mon. From the very comfortable bed, to the little snacks, to the fish, and gardens. And if you’re a bird watcher, the courtyard garden has so many beautiful birds. This place is like a little plot of peace and quiet…with singing from the school for the blind across the street serenading our breakfast, to the many great restaurants within a 5 min walk. Highly recommend.

We had a good time in the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was huge (and I’m used to sleeping in king beds) and the bathroom had everything we needed. The hotel has charm and the inner garden was also a great sight when you got out of the room. I would stay there again if I could !

Great spot for easy walking in the Old City. Our room had an adjoining door to the next room which was paper-thin and we heard every word, snore and bathroom activity from our room. Request a non-adjoining room!! Some of the electrical outlets didn’t work near the beds which made charging electronics a challenge. The staff was lovely and the property is clean. Other than our specific room, I’d recommend this spot to others.

Great value for money and good location for exploring the old city within the moat.

This was a fair Hotel not a traditional hotel it is a boutique hotel which is very small however the staff was extremely kind and extremely helpful it was a safe area I felt comfortable walking down the street late at night or early in the morning coming and going from night markets the shower however was not up to date it could have used a remodeling and a deep cleaning also the shower did not get very hot at all overall if you're looking for a decent stay and you're not too particular about the shower this would be a place to consider
