The facilities are super clean, they clean daily our room and we have plenty toiletries and towels. All meals we got were super tasty, they have a great cook managing the restaurant. All the food was delicious veggies and fish really fresh and well done! It was the best of my stay there!
I wish the front desk was more supportive about how to be transported from the Buenaventura port to Juanchaco. All the information requested was vague, non specific. We have to navigate on our own by asking in other agencies how to get there.
Nice facility, isolated from the village by a small river.
The rooms face the sea. Very calm.
Crossing the river requires the help from hotel staff but they are caring.
I really enjoyed this hostel!
Clean, secure, good wi-fi, excellent breakfast, reasonable price for other meals, helpful staff, close to pier and shops.
When the tide is out you take off your shoes and socks to cross a shallow estuary, but if the tide is in the staff take you across in a boat.
All good for me!
The view from the room. The quiet.
The attitude of the cook. The limited food and drink choices and availability. My wife went without breakfast today even though it was supposed to be included. There is no one else here so what is the problem? The lack of fruit. They don't even have Coca Cola or similiar. Being isolated due to the tidal river and the corresponding complications of getting across to Juanchaco. The lack of response from the administrator. The high price of the tour that they untimately declined us due to lack of guests so we booked our own for less in town for just the two of us. We felt penalized or that we were a nuisance for being the only tourists here. The lack of staff. The cook is also the room cleaner.
The workers were amazing. John is friendly and will give tips on places to go and things to do. The ladies in the kitchen whip up delicious meals and they are friendly. Try their piangua. You will love it.
Crossing the stream near hostel was a bit bothersome. But you somehow learn to deal with it.
The bast place i have been in !!!
All new facilities.
Going back after 8 may have some hassle. Because a little creek need to be crossed.
