Never stay in a room on the 5th floor. The 6th floor has a rooftop bar that plays loud music until 1am!!!!!!!!

The Service was Amazing from the front Desk to the manager Victor , to the Waiters at breakfast!!

From check-in upon hotel, to check-out day of departure. Hotel staff was awesome, friendly and very welcoming to the hotel. Everything was wonderful. A must do is the rooftop bar at the Zarzo.

El Zarzo staff is the greatest part of the hotel. Extremely attentive, friendly, and informative. Rooftop bar was the highlight for us great drinks and vibes. Down side rooms are smaller then other rooms you can find for this price and the bed was on the firm side. Also while we were there(8/23/25) they are working on expanding so they had construction going on and they like to start at 7am and if your a light sleeper you can hear music/ traffic all night till 3am.

El Zarzo is a very nice boutique hotel, great design, beautiful and comfortable rooms, an amazing rooftop bar and great restaurant.

The hotel is located in a nice/safe area. The staff was 100% attentive, 100% nice. The hotel itself is a quiet, Sophisticated building. The only two things I wished the hotel had was a gym and a lobby/lounge area for the guests to hangout.

Great location to stay and enjoy the night life. Lots of amazing restaurants and shopping close by. Highly recommend!

Prime location, top-notch service, and a rooftop bar that could easily become your second home. The staff at the hotel and upstairs were walking encyclopedias of food, drinks, and local tips. Now, about the neighborhood… let’s just say it’s alive. If you’re a light sleeper like me, you’ll hear the city’s heartbeat all night long. At the end of my stay, I noticed earplugs on the table — mystery solved. Next time, hand those out at check-in and watch your guest satisfaction soar. Noise drama aside, the stay was a hit from start to finish.

Excellent hotel with kind and accommodating staff. We feel so grateful to have found this true gem in Medellín. Look no further for the most perfect hotel. Do consider upgrading to a bigger room, as the added space and bathroom is totally worth it.

Love this hotel. It beautiful and the room was really nice. It is in a great area with plenty of restaurants. The only downside is that they don’t have a gym, but that’s ok because the staff, location and the design of the hotel made up for it. Highly recommend this hotel and I will stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel in proximity to excellent restaurants and within walking distance of Metro. All wood, tile and natural concrete interior, with balcony plantings that give the impression of being in a rainforest. Breakfast is prepared to order and includes eggs made to order, plus local varieties. Gourmet chef in restaurant, plus there is a rooftop bar with sliding roof that is opened in clear weather and affords panoramic view of mountains. Front desk service is friendly, several attendants speak English, and are helpful in arranging tours in the area.

Great stay. A bit noisy in the morning because of some construction next door but no too bad. Close to everything. Amazing location. Amazing roof top bar. I would highly recommend.

I stayed one night at Hotel El Zarzo and had the most amazing experience. We landed at 9am and was allowed checkin shortly after because the room had already been prepared (ahead of the usual 11am check in) . At check in we recieved a warm welcome, 2 free welcome cocktails at the roof top bar and 20% of at the restaurant Cocina 33. The room felt like a spa retreat with soft dimmed light and aroma therapy scents, a fully stocked nespresso coffee bar, tea and water. Shortly after the staff brought up a tray of artisan desserts that were DELICIOUS and a hand written note expressing their excitement for our stay. Everyone and everything was so warm and welcoming, I can’t wait to return and eat delicious meals at Cocina 33 again!!!

Nice property, only issue was bar is on the 6th floor and I was on the 5th floor so it was loud. Stay on a lower floor if you can. But great hotel, definitely would stay there again. Super close to everything

The staff was deplorablelable.

Loved this place. Staff was superb. Food was good. The bar was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
