very pleasant.
Pros:

clean, airy, helpful happy staff. easy to get around despite being rather a large. place. very comfortable bed.

Cons:

walls were very thin. no replenishment of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits.

Pros:

Cons:

Wifi was not working on my room in the first floor. The rooms were okey clean but suppose they could have been cleaner. But nothing to worry about just my expectations from a hotel.

Pros:

We stayed here for one night on our way down to Cornwall. The location is fantastic! Parking straight outside the hotel but you would be lucky to get parked there. There is parking straight over the road though so I didn't see that as an issue. To the bottom of the road if you turn left it takes you to a stunning beach. Access is via steps or steep ramp. To the right a short walk takes you to lusty glaze!
There are plenty of food places etc within walking distance. This isn't a modern hotel by any means but we had a fridge and clean bed linen and towels. We just needed somewhere to sleep 😴 so it was just fine for that. We would book for overnight again. There is also a lift for easy access to the floors

Cons:

Rooms are dated but for the price I thought they were fine.

Pros:

Location is about all that was good

Cons:

Room was tiny, I could not even use the desk for my laptop there was no room for my legs. I moved the bed to try and fit in it and the mess under the bed made me put it back right away. I could hardly fit in the shower. They should not be able to charge so much for such an abysmal room.

Tiny Bathroom
Pros:

The staff were so friendly. Location is very good. It was very clean.

Cons:

The bathroom was so small and it was a real squeeze to get past the sink to the toilet. Felt a bit like a hostel as there was a man standing in the middle of a communal area ironing?

Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, behulpzaam ook. Locatie prima. Vlak bij bus en op loopafstand van het treinstation en het centrum. Ruime keus bij het ontbijt.

Cons:

Kamer en algemene uitstraling van het hotel komt wat viezig over. Wel schoon, maar wel wat vlekken zichtbaar op de tapijten en badkamer.

Comfy and convenient. Well priced for peak season!
Pros:

Good location, only a short 10 minute walk from the town centre. Parking outside (first come first served).

Cons:

The water pressure wasn’t good in the shower, however there was a poster regarding some water issues out of their control. When booking it stated 3pm check-in but check-in was actually 4pm although we did get checked in about 20 minutes early.

Pros:

Satisfactory hotel. Lots didn’t work in the rooms. Breakfast was awful

Things in room didn’t work. Breakfast was awful. Some ham and cheese on toast for £10 per head. Expected a minimum of a full English. Full English was not available

Pros:

Perfect location, incredible staff. The couple of hiccups I encountered (nobody's fault) were sorted super quickly.
As a disabled person, bed comfort is very important and I found no issues with that.

Nothing really, I was happy enough during my stay

Sandy Lodge Review
Pros:

Hotel was clean. Room and bathroom were clean, freshly painted. It was a nice big airy room, the twin beds were comfy.

Cons:

Hotel under refurbishment. 2 mornings running started work directly outside room well before 9am. Decorator stopped immediately when I went out as my son was still asleep....but they should not start so early.....people are on holiday. I think 10am is reasonable not before 9am.

Overall found the room very noisy right next to a fire door and stairs.

Housekeeping also tried to come in early. As a result room was only made up once.

Although the room itself was good, the shower was shocking. It was stone cold and barely a dribble. I had to wash in the sink that did have hot water.

Interaction with staff was absolutely minimal, from when we checked in, didnt say hello when coming in and out.
