Petra Moon Luxury Hotel

The hotel has a very nice mountain view very close to the Petra entrance, having the Christmas and new year vibes with a whole incredible staff, Zeyad, Eyad, Mohammed and Ismail were providing a great hospitality experience..The food is so delicious and the provided varieties between the traditional and western cuisine.
The room is so clean, quiet and comfortable came with all we needed and a special welcoming delicious Jordanian sweets..
All in all we enjoyed the whole experience highly recommend:)

This hotel is quite new. Room was super clean with modern furniture and fittings. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location just minutes from the Petra visitor center. Nice view from the room.

Lovely hotel - very clean, modern and spacious with excellent service. The staff are professional friendly and responsive, especially at breakfast service (including. Ismail) and the front desk. The breakfast was great with fresh orange juice and the location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Petra. We got upgraded to a suite with a lovely view and after being in the desert for a few days, the heating and hot shower were a god send! The hotel really focuses on the smaller details; from welcome Jordanian sweets and a toiletries bag to Kit Kats at turn down service. We also really appreciated the Petra tips from the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in (can’t remember his name sorry). Highly recommended, and I really can’t imagine how the more pricey brand names would deliver a better experience than the Petra moon luxury hotel!

The location of Petra moon luxury hotel is right next the entrance of Petra - very convenient (though the short steep uphill after a long day on your feet is a killer).

The place is impeccably clean. The service is fantastic in all parts of the establishment, from the front desk, to the house keeping (mustached young man), to the breakfast buffet (Ismail and Eyad).

The rooms were spacious and immaculate.

Happy to stay here if we come back.

The hotel review recently stayed in Petra. The location was great, only a 4-minute walk from the visitor center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, serving delicious Arabic food as well as international breakfast options. The chef and staff were always attentive to the guests' needs, ensuring that they were comfortable and satisfied. This is a hotel I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Petra Moon Luxury Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help, which made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

The location is excellent—just a short walking distance from the entrance to Petra, making it very convenient for early visits and long days of exploring.
The food was another highlight: very fresh, well prepared, and great-tasting. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra.

It is a great hotel ! Why ? It is very clean and the service is impeccable. There were small touches that made our day: freshly squeezed orange juice at the restaurant , chocolate and even a spa set for me. I love that it is near the gate of Petra . We woke up , had a great breakfast that comes with the room and just walked to Petra.

Very clean room, high quality linens, and kind staff. We arrived one night earlier than we booked (from expedia) due to unexpected circumstances, but the hotel manager quickly helped us move our booking. The front desk and restaurant staff are very welcoming and helpful.

The not so good; hard uncomfortable bed, cheap finishes of hotel rooms.

Great location. Just a few minutes walk from the visitor centre. Very nice staff, good size rooms. The mini bar usage was complimentary, on arrival we were given early checkin. A box a baklavas and some Dead Sea mask and bath salt minis as a welcome gift in the room. The breakfast was good and the in room dining experience was good too. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable stay after long day of exploration at Petra

We booked a deluxe room and we were upgraded to a mountain view room on the second floor which had brilliant views of the mountain and sunset.

Pros:

The hotel is located directly opposite the Petra visitor centre making it very easy when visiting Petra. (Note, the hotel is accessed via a steep hill)

The room was very modern and well equipped with several toiletries, a fridge and complementary mini bar which included soft drinks and crisps.

The breakfast spread was extensive - including an eggs and pancake stand, several pastries, fruit, bread and other cooked foods. A great way to stock up on energy before heading to Petra. All food was labelled which was extremely helpful as a vegetarian.

It was my birthday on the day we checked in so my husband organised a meal at the hotel. The staff were brilliant and portions of all courses were huge. A special thank you for for preparing a fully vegetarian meal for me. They even organised a birthday cake and candles which was a lovely touch. The cake was delicious. Cons:

We bought Petra by Night tickets from the front desk and agreed we would pick them up at 8pm. Upon arrival at 8pm, tickets were not ready and a staff member was sent to go and buy them with no explanation of what was happening. When we asked if the staff was going to buy the tickets then, we were brushed off and told to wait 5 mins. 20 mins later, the staff member arrived with the tickets. In that time, we could have gone ourselves to purchase them and access the event directly. Upon checkout, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the situation, the response and absorption of the feedback seemed to be disingenuous.

The hotel has a lot of facilities including pool, jacuzzi and gym. It was a bit cold for us to use the pool, however, the jacuzzi was absolutely great after a big day walking in Petra.

Staff were all very friendly, especially cleaning staff who provided extra water chocolates and a beautiful gift box with traditional sweets.

Clean and modern. The service staff were friendly, gracious and efficient. Wonderful service in the restaurant, and the food was quite good.

The hotel is in an excellent location, only 5 minutes walking to Petra entrance and good restaurants. We enjoyed beautiful sunset over Petra from our room window. The facility is modern and clean. The staff are friendly with prompt services. The breakfast buffet has diverse and delicious food selection. The morning shift staff and manager in the breakfast restaurant were so pleasant. We loved our server Mohammad. We would definitely come back to this hotel next time we visit Petra.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and classy. The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was fabulous, right down near the visitors centre.
The staff were all friendly and attentive especially Subhi.
Breakfast was wonderful and the whole experience was outstanding.
Would definitely stay again.
