Villa Selena

I truly wish I could have stayed longer in Syros and at Villa Selena. Giannis and Vasiliki were wonderful hosts. I had a mix-up with my taxi from the port and they did a great job arranging new transportation for me. When I arrived, Vasiliki warmly greeted me and was so helpful with my luggage (no small feat) and with recommendations for places to dine around the island.

The hotel is an old mansion and it is stunning. There are several communal indoor and outdoor spaces where you can people watch, rest, or read. The villa is perfectly located with a short walk to Asteria Beach as well as to the port.

My room was small but perfectly appointed. The closet space and clear storage stands helped me keep organized and ensured that I didn't leave anything behind. I loved the window in my room. It looked out towards Ermoupoli and the light was absolutely stunning.

Did I mention breakfast? The Villa hosts a lovely and filling breakfast buffet with everything you need to start your day, as well as made-to-order options. It's served on one of the outdoor terraces, which was right near my room.

I truly hope to return to Villa Selena on my next stay in Syros!

We were warmly greeted by Vasiliki who showed us to our room. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. The location was excellent as it was only a few minutes to walk to downtown. The room amenities were top notch: loved the olive based shampoo and body wash. We really enjoyed the healthy breakfast selection provided by Litza.

Absolute paradise on earth. This neoclassical home has been lovingly and artistically renovated. We felt like honored guests in a beautiful home. The hosts were present and kind while the stay was also quiet and private. This hotel is centrally located to all of the conveniences and sights in Ermoupolis and beyond.

A very unique place. Tastefully designed, super clean room with a great view of the sea. Well situated, great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Will go down as one of our favorite stays.

Our stay at the Villa Selena was beyond our expectations. The service was amazing and included delicious breakfasts provided in the morning on an outdoor patio by a very helpful hostess who provided lots of advice about things to do in the area. In the evening we sat in a rooftop patio with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. Across the road we had access to a pier and great swimming. We were a 10 minute walk from shopping and restaurants. The accommodations were lovely with a beautiful shared sitting room in addition to our private bedroom and bath.
