Warm and friendly staff. Definitely worth a stay
Pros:

The Room was very clean, and staff were very friendly. A simple dinner meal comprising of 2 veg curries and 1 dal along with rice and chapatti which was freshly cooked was very satisfying. We had an early check out at 6 am, the support staff was very helpful and ensured a smooth and timely checkout and also prepared some tea and coffee for us before we checked out. They had an electric warmer installed on the bed which made the sleep quite comfortable.

Cons:

The approach road to reach the hotel is slightly difficult when travelling with senior citizens. However, it's beyond their control. It can shock you the first time, when you reach the hotel, however the second day it was easier as you know what's expected.

An overall nice stay amongst nature, with cordial staff and decent food.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and so was dinner and lunch. But one has to climb up and down quite a few steps for reaching property from road.

Cons:

Both the toilet and room need improvement.

The views were amazing from your room. It was in a quiet location.

Cons:

For the price that you pay( which is pretty high in comparison ) there should be a source of heating the rooms. You only have a heated blanket making it unbearable to be in the bathroom or anywhere out of the bed. Also, the room you take your meals in needs some source of heat. You have to be in your jacket shaking while you eat.
The biggest disappointment was the behavior of the owner. He should watch how he speaks to solo female travelers. Completely inappropriate comments making me feel soooo uncomfortable. Absolutely unacceptable.

Das Hotel liegt etwas weiter weg und talwärts von Darjeeling. Wenn man die Ruhe sucht, ist es genau richtig.
Nach Darjeeling zu Fuss gibt es Short Cuts. Einfach den Besitzer fragen.

Pros:

Das Bloomfield Farmhouse liegt ca. 2km unterhalb des Stadtzentrums in einer grünen, sehr ruhigen Umgebung. Bei klarem Wetter hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf das schneebedeckte Massiv des über 8000m hohen Kanchenjunga-Massivs.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird ein gutes, in eigener Küche zubereitetes Frühstück und Abendessen angeboten.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind im Winter abends recht kalt. Eine Heizmöglichkeit wäre sehr angenehm.

Good and comfortable

The property is very good and our stay was comfortable. The staff is also good, warm and welcoming.

The road leading to the location is under construction and is not very easy to walk.

Pros:

We enjoyed the quiet and serenity at this homestay about a 75 minute walk just outside of Darjeeling. The staff were very attentive. The views of the mountains and valley were lovely. We discovered a number of trails nearby to hike in the tea plantations which was fun. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our stay an extra three days. We had great views from our window.

Cons:

The shower in our room didn't work very well. It was very difficult to control the heat when using the shower head.

Peaceful and nourishing for the soul.
Pros:

I really enjoyed my 5 days at Bloomfield Eco Resort as a female solo traveller I felt immediately at peace and safe. The Farmhouse is in a quiet location, after the business of Delhi, Mumbai and other cities this was the perfect stay to wind down before heading home. Darjeeling has lots to do to keep you occupied.
Bloomfield is located amongst the tea fields and forests, this suited me well and I did not mind the walk to the main road.
The quiet and unpolluted surroundings provided clear views of Kanchenjunga.
Arun the manager was at-tentative to everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and relaxed from organising a Driver (Chetan) to meals at the times I needed them. Arun showed me local walks that I would not have found on my own.
The meals were delicious and made with local produce. I ate breakfast and dinner there most days and enjoyed the simple variety.

Cons:

I liked everything about Bloomfield.

Pros:

Beautiful and quiet location. Tasty and varied food provided for breakfast and booked for dinner.

Cons:

Cold rooms ( in December) and very firm mattress. It was a long way downhill from the main road into Darjeerling, which made it fairly dependent on a car/taxi to get into town.
