The Meridian at Lighthouse Point is a hidden treasure in Roatan. The apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished.
The peaceful grounds, gardens, pools and waterfalls are gorgeous.
We had to stay longer due to severe weather at home. The cancelled flights was inconvenient but we were not too upset to be “stranded” here. The manager, Samir was very helpful, checked in often, and has great rapport with his staff. He went above and beyond to help us when our rental had a flat tire. The security staff made it feel very safe.
The seaside restaurant Kismet, served delicious lunch and dinner, with both American and Central American fare. The bay has beautiful coral and fish, very close to shore. The water is shallow and it is a little tricky to find open channels, but worth the effort for the underwater discoveries!
*Please use reef safe sunscreen and avoid touching the coral.
The restaurant is not open for breakfast.
The room was very comfortable and the swimming pool and grounds were exceptionally kept. The beach on the point is better than most if you like to snorkel.
The restaurant has the best view on Roatan.
The property is isolated and you need to have your own car. There is very little to no activity in the area.
You must drive or take a taxi to get groceries or go diving and fishing.
Perfect location. Beautiful pool. Amazing snorkeling right from the beach, just a few steps out from the villa. Food & staff at onsite restaurant, Kismet, are great.
Really need a car since it’s a long walk from the rest of West Bay. Oven in our villa did not work.

Beautiful buildings, the most beautiful pool I've ever seen, very friendly, generous and helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us, clean and well kept grounds, fantastic snorkelling on reefs just offshore and pleasant beach bar/restaurant. Quiet setting, but easy access to the beautiful but busy West Bay Beach. Great attention to detail in keeping the pool and grounds immaculate. We got an unexpected upgrade to an ocean-front room that was amazing...3 bedrooms, 3 baths, huge kitchen, living room and covered balcony. Can't imagine a nicer place to stay.
The only detraction was that getting into the ocean took a bit of care due to rocks, but was certainly manageable.
Was a great location and staff was helpful whenever I needed anything. Clean throughout the facilities.

Transportation to west bay
Beautiful property. Our unit was a 1 bedroom with a large deck overlooking the pool. The on suite bathroom was the size of a bedroom. A bit of a walk to West Bay but we found a shortcut to help eliminate some of the hill. The beach is very private, but swimming out to the reef for snorkelling is difficult as the water gets rough and the there is not much clearance from the reef. We just stayed closer to shore.
Wifi in the unit was poor low speed (7M) and completely disappeared sometimes. It is minor compared to how nice everything else was but a fry pan lifter and large fry pan would make the otherwise fully equipped kitchen perfect.
Very quiet away from west bay beach where the vendors are and cruise ship people hang out. To walk to west bay for dinner or pick up items.
The owners are just wonderful individuals, we will return.

The room was exceptional - spacious, tasteful decor, excellent amenities. I appreciated that we were away from the crowded resort area but it was a short walk away to the beautiful beaches and numerous bar and restaurant options in West Bay. The pool was lovely and the salt water pool at the beach was a real treat. Excellent snorkeling at a pristine reef just off the the beach from the resort. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The restaurant food was not great, very expensive for what it was especially considering the great options in West Bay. Such a nice location for the restaurant it was a shame that the food was so mediocre. Internet was very slow and frequently unavailable - not a big deal for me but if you need reliable network access this isn't the place. Also be aware the reef is shallow with a narrow passage for access and strong currents, so not appropriate snorkeling for beginners.
Best snorkeling few steps away, friendly staff, safe, clean, quiet
Gorgeous resort. Wifi was a bit slow but other than that it was amazing. Staff is so nice, good at restaurant is good l, clean, and great pool.

The walk to west bay but when we figured out we could walk thru the other resorts not so bad
We loved the location and the facilities were very nice. It was nice having the small restaurant/bar right on site. The only downside was the internet was weak, to get decent connection you had to pretty much be right at the dining room table.
