The staff were very nice. Special mention to the restaurant manager who managed an excellent team in the dining room. The room we eventually had was very big with a nice bath and shower and plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice.
The free ski bus outside is essential!
Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with a load of school children who were staying. Noisy, running around the corridors, up and down the stairs banging on each other's doors. Out of control in the bar area (which is a lovely area) but you cannot sit there and enjoy a quiet drink. I ended up out in the corridor at night several times and ringing reception. There are teachers accompanying them, but they did nothing to control them and on one occasion defended their behaviour!!!. The school children staying here is a regular thing after December as the hotel has corporate contracts with schools!!! We didn't know this and the manager has now confirmed this. We had specifically avoided half term week, but these are school.ski trips.
I addressed these issues with the hotel manager Rafael who was very apologetic and has offered us some compensation. So the hotel is fully aware of our complaint. He is trying his best to manage this but sadly he can only do so much.
The other issue is they charge 26 euros each for an evening buffet meal. We didn't think it was worth this money, so we went into the village to eat for less money and better quality.
So if you are looking for a quiet, tranquil hotel then unfortunately this hotel is not for you which is very sad as the hotel itself is a nice hotel but is being ruined by out of control school children.

A little bit dated
I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sant Gothard. The location is great and made it easy to get around, with a bus stop right outside the hotel which was very convenient.
The room was comfortable and in good condition, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast — there was an excellent selection and it was a great way to start the day.
Another big plus is the free parking, which made travelling by car very easy and stress-free.
Overall, a good hotel in a convenient location with comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and useful transport links. I would happily stay here again.
One small downside was that our first room was quite close to reception and could be noisy at night times. However, when we asked to move, the staff were very helpful and moved us to a like-for-like room further away, which was much quieter and made the rest of our stay much better.

La ducha tenía el grifo roto y se caía a trozos, el techo estaba despegado.
Entro un limpiador antes que abandonáramos el hotel, mientras desayunábamos, dejo la cama echa sin cambiar las sábanas, supongo que los siguientes clientes durmieron en esas sábanas.
Después en la cafetería me cobran 3,20€ i me lo quería dar sin hielo, me da el cambio y me da una moneda de dos euros y le digo dame dos monedas para el billar, que el niño quiere jugar y me dice que vaya a recepción.
En recepción el trato excepcional.
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel était très aimable et la chambre de qualité. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et bon. Un bus est disponible pour rejoindre les stations de ski.

El desayuno es exquisito. El parking es gratuito. La conexión wifi es perfecta.
La comida, el personal, la tranquilidad y la cercanía a las pistas.
Lastimosamente la sauna y el Spa estaban cerrados los días que estábamos y no hubo una recompensa o devolución parcial del dinero.
