We regularly come to Gmunden and will be back in this hotel other times too.
Pros:

Liked the location, the cleanness, all in all there was everything.

Cons:

It starts to feel old, the automatic check-in didn’t work and needed to wait 40 minutes at 10:30pm, also was not clear whom to call in case of a problem; when the staff person arrived, she was friendly and helpful;

a simpler breakfast would have been nice - we were there for a sports competition and would not have had time to enjoy the 18Eur breakfast. Another missing thing for me were the reading lamps and how to set the temperature.

Pros:

The property was really inviting - the little courtyard out front is lovely and the pictures of animals are quite entertaining I must say. Although it’s actually automated check in, we were greeted by the amazing Elisabeth who was so friendly, helpful and all around lovely human. We really noticed that she and her colleague Alexandra went to so much trouble as the hotel was booked for an ice skating competition next door. There was lots of extra Nutella and semmeln for the kids and the to go cups of coffee were the absolute “cherry on top”.
