Top Lage, freundliches Personal, kein Insektenschutz
Pros:

Top Lage direkt an der Donau.
Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Keine Insektengitter; dadurch konnten wir nachts nicht lüften und mussten das Frühstück im Speisesaal in Gesellschaft eines Fliegenschwarms verbringen. Außerdem schmückten zahlreiche Insektenkadaver unsere Zimmerwände; Sauberkeit sieht anders aus, aber zumindest verhungert so die große Spinne an der Decke nicht.
Sehr hellhörige Wände, die Gespräche im Nachbarzimmer waren deutlich zu hören.
Das Essen war sehr gut, aber leider ziemlich kleine Portionen.

We liked the hotel’s location. It is a cosy and peaceful place by the river, with swans nearby.

Cons:

However, there were no insect screens to keep out flies and mosquitoes, especially in the restaurant. Many flies were landing on our faces, mouths, food - everywhere. Fly swatters were placed near the tables, but this is not something I would like to deal with while eating.

At the end of our stay, when the staff asked whether we had enjoyed everything, we mentioned this as a suggestion for improvement. Unfortunately, the response and reaction we received were not polite.

One more detail for animal lovers: the hotel is filled with taxidermy animals throughout the property.

This was a very good choice of stay when cycling the Danube path.
Pros:

Perfect place if you are cycling the Danube path. Ferry is very close by. Rooms with a nice with great view of the river, super friendly staff, restaurant with a very good menu and an outside balcony. Private patio to keep your bicycle safe and charging stations for e-bikes. Everything was great.

Einfach ein schöner Aufenthalt .

Die Lage war echt super , Mann konnte schöne Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund machen, der sehr willkommen war. Es war alles sehr sauber, das Personal super freundlich . Das frühstück war sehr ausreichend und es ist für jeden etwas dabei . Wir können das Hotel jedem empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder . Danke für den netten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel . Lg aus Graz

Idyllische Lage, ruhig und sehr schönes Hotel
Pros:

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Landhotel Ernst, diesmal mit einer ganzen Gruppe unterwegs mit dem Rad an der Donau. Auch dieses Mal haben wir uns an diesem idyllischen Ort einfach sehr wohl gefühlt, auch unsere Freunde waren sehr begeistert. Das Team super freundlich, die Zimmer groß, das Essen ist sehr lecker. Und der Blick auf die Donau einfach fantastisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken uns für den erneut wunderbaren Aufenthalt!
