Pros:

We appreciated wonderful breakfast as well as the option of having dinner within the hotel after ski. Staff was always nice. I was surprised how sometimes table reservation was necessary for the dinner as the restaurant was packed during our meal time. We tested also other restaurants in the city. The quality and price of a meals in the hotel was comparable and sometimes even better compared with outside options, but it was more convenient when tired from whole day of fresh air on ski slopes.

Cons:

Limited parking directly at hotel, however it wasn't a dealbreaker as there were other park places in the distance about 200 metres.

Pros:

Skutočne rodinný hotel s nesmierne vľúdnou atmosférou. Občas som mal pocit, že som u niektoho na návšteve doma. Skvelé, hoci jednoduché raňajky s masívnym zastúpením lokálnych produktov. Reštaurácia bola vždy plná, vrátane domácich obyvateľov (čo je vždy dobré znamenie). Určite odporúčam.

Sehr guter Gasthof mit außergewöhnlichen Zimmern, gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis

Historisches Gasthaus mitFlair, jedes Zimmer hat sein eigenes Design, Frühstück sehr gute Auswahl, Menükarte des Gasthauses, Personal sehr freundlich, Frau Wallner ist die Seele des Hauses

Very comfortable stay
Pros:

Very nice and cozy family owned guest hotel, located right in the centre of Mauterndorf, and a 4 minute drive from the Skieck Steireck ski lift. The ski bus was also available and stopped right in front of the guest house. It had nice standard breakfast, and the restaurant was just downstairs in case you wanted dinner as well (had to be booked in advance), the room was cleaned every day. They even provided us with bathrobes for the Spa, which has 2 saunas, and 1 infrared cabin, also towels were available, and water and lemonade was provided, the spa was open every day in the afternoons until evenings. It had also available free parking spots. It was great! The staff was very friendly. I also liked the possibility to stay with a small dog.

Cons:

The room was tiny for 2 people (but I initially booked the room for 1 person, so maybe, they would give us a bigger room if I booked it right in advance). There was no hot water in the shower at the spa area.

Ein Original Mauterndorfer Haus und Familienbetrieb mit viel Liebe für Details - auch zur Geschichte des Hauses.
Das Haus hat aufjedenfall Charme und bietet alles was man für einen kurzen Schiurlaub benötigen könnte. Die Lage mit Schibus vor der Türe ideal für einen Kurzurlaub. Frühstück regional und mit viel hausgemachtem!

Hezké stylové ubytování v docházkové vzdálenosti k hradu a s krátkou dojezdovou vzdáleností do lyžařských středisek v oblasti Lungau. Lyžárna k dispozici. U naprosto postačující výběr u snídaně i s domácí bábovkou. Nabídnuto bylo i servírované espresso. Velmi laskavá obsluha. Spokojenost. Děkujeme.
