Exceptional
Pros:

The place is very clean, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was outstanding, and the owner is there to make sure everything is set to perfection. This place was built over 700 years ago, it's a family run business with a very nice restaurant and beer garden. The rooms are very spacious, very clean, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. I took many pictures of the interior and exterior of the hotel and surroundings. I highly recommend this lodging. 👌

Cons:

The internet was down, and they don't accept debit or credit cards. This is a cash only location. I also experienced the cash only situation at restaurants and stores in Hallsttad.
I highly recommend this place, bring cash. Not a complaint. It's just advice.

Pros:

Very good location near center, very friendly staff and owner, very good kitchen, tasty breakfast
We had family room on the second floor modest but clean and comfortable with cleaning service everyday, sufficient and stable wifi
Shop Penny market just in front

Cons:

Coffee at the breakfast pas terrible
Limited parking available (we had problem to park some evenings)
A bit of smell from the kitchen inside the building

Nice little piece of Austria
Pros:

The bed was super comfortable. It was very quiet, so light sleepers will love this place.
The onsite car park at the rear was helpful.

(Top tip)
To exit the carpark, turn right and immediately right again. You'll go down a very narrow road and come out on the main road. Don't go out the rear entrance of carpark because you'll be out in the countryside

Cons:

WiFi didn't work very well.

Pros:

Breakfast was very tasty. Location is good, in the centre of the town. Close to restaurants. Bed is comfy. Clean, nice view.

Cons:

No fridge in the room. No free parking lot.

Spacious room for four with a comfortable sitting corner, perfect for a family of 4, warm and well lit.
Great breakfast.

Cons:

The pub/restaurant was closed on Friday night, thus it was challenging to get dinner anywhere close to the hotel.
