Das Frühstück war top!

Cons:

Mein Zimmer war in einem Nebenhaus und komplett unbeheizt am ersten Tag. Nach dem Wintersport keine gute Sache und wirklich sehr ärgerlich. Mir wurde um 21 Uhr eine mobile Heizung gebracht. Zum Abschluss hieß es: "Ja, dann mussten Sie ja immerhin nicht frieren."
Zumindest eine Entschuldigung wäre hier angebracht gewesen.
Niemand will ein Hotel bezahlen, um dann im Zimmer zu frieren!

Im dazugehörigen Restaurant wurde ich um 17:50 Uhr sehr unfreundlich weggeschickt, weil die Küche erst um 18 Uhr öffnet. Bin dann lachend rausgelaufen und woanders hin. Nach mir ist es der nächsten Person genau gleich ergangen.

Pros:

Sehr vorteilhaft im Skigebiet Arlberg gelegen, sehr freundliches Personal und dazu charmant eingerichtet. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl an Säften und Käse. Der Wellness-Bereich und die stilvolle Einrichtung wissen zu gefallen.

Bergkrause was disappointing and not cheap. Approx £200 for 2 nights. The 3-stars once awarded to the Bergkrause are now
Pros:

I am reviewing the Bergkrause which is used by Das Johann for overflow accommodation. Das Johann would deserve a much higher rating (8-9) on many counts, but I would avoid Bergkrause. Just 2 nights so acceptable in the circumstances.

Cons:

The Bergkrause double rooms are small and poorly equipped and furnished. Very tired. In need of total renovation since the owner died a few years ago. It is managed by Das Johann and used for overflow when DJ is full. Excellent breakfast at DJ, ski storage at Fux Bau and wellness facilities at Arlberg Lodge can be used by those sleeping at the Bergkrause.
