Please note that Hotel Mondschein is closed in summer. Therefore, the half-board option, sauna is only available in winter.

Schöne Unterkunft - jedoch mit zusätzlichen Höhenmetern

Zimmer ausreichend groß
Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher vorhanden.
Frühstück auf dem Zimmer war sehr lecker, ausreichend und wurde auch liebevoll angerichtet in einer hübschen Holzkiste serviert. Sogar mit leckeren Rühreiern.

Cons:

Hotel und Chalet Mondschein sind zwei unterschiedliche Adressen!
Es geht aus der Beschreibung hier auf Booking.com leider nicht hervor, dass das Zimmer im „Chalet Mondschein“ ganz oben am Hang (über Stuben) liegt. Im Kontakt wird die Adresse vom „Hotel Mondschein“ - mitten im Dorf - angegeben.
Dort am Hotel steht man dann jedoch vor verschlossenen Türen, da das Hotel in den Sommermonaten nicht betrieben wird.
Erst nach einigen Versuchen war telefonisch eine freundliche Dame zu erreichen, die uns dann mitteilte, dass wir über Google explizit nach dem „Chalet Mondschein“ suchen sollten.
Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man als Wanderer unterwegs und gerade in einen Regenguss gekommen ist. Da wäre es schön, man hätte GLEICH die richtige Adresse vom Chalet geliefert bekommen.
Und wir waren definitiv nicht die einzigen. Wir haben auch weitere Telefonate diesbezüglich mitbekommen.
Das Chalet selbst und die freundliche Dame waren tipptopp. Aber wenn man nach einem langen und anstrengenden Wandertag am Zielort ankommt, möchte man nicht erst noch ein Suchspiel starten müssen.

Das unser Zimmer keinen Balkon hatte .... und wor mit dem Gepäck drei Etagen nach unten mussten und der Schlüssel nicht in der unteren Etage passte ....

Wirklich gute Unterkunft in Stuben
Pros:

Frühstück war super! Da das Hotel zu hatte, wurde dieses auf das Zimmer geliefert.

Cons:

Wir haben leider erst ein paar Tage vor Anreise erfahren, dass der Wellnessbereich im Sommer geschlossen hat

Es hat gepasst.
Pros:

Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustüre. Die Zutaten vom Frühstück waren von sehr hoher Qualität. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Cons:

Der Tisch für das Frühstück im Chalet war viel zu klein und zu hoch. Der Kühlschrank hat leider nicht funktioniert. Bei der Telefonnummer die für etwaige Fragen angegeben wurde, hab ich zu 95% niemanden erreicht. Änderungswünsche beim Frühstück, obwohl ich per WhattsApp und persönlich kommuniziert hab, wurden leider nicht beachtet.

A great place to stay for a few days

Great location with parking on spot. View from hotel is amazing with a few local restaurants nearby.

A generous amount of Breakfast gets delivered to your room in the morning.

Cons:

Bring your own pillow if your neck doesn’t like super soft pillows or ask the staff to get you more pillows.

Pros:

Nous nous réjouissions de cette halte en montagne après 7 heures de route, quelle déception! D'abord comme il n'y a pas de réception dans la partie dite "chalet" il a fallu descendre au sous sol pour trouver l'employée qui nous a conduit à notre chambre. Belle chambre avec vue sur la montagne...Ensuite nous avons du supporter les bavardages des clients du rez de chaussée jusqu'à tard dans la nuit, par ailleurs l'hôtel est très mal insonorisé et la dalle en béton résonne dès que quelqu'un marche, le matin nous avons été réveillés par des clients indélicats à 6h30, puis l'employée s'est mise à passer l'aspirateur à 6h45 devant notre porte, un comble! nous avions commandé notre déjeuner à 9h00, à 8h00 on a tambouriné à notre porte pour nous livrer, à noter également que les matelas sont inconfortables et que l'on sent tous les ressorts, bref , après avoir connu le confort de plusieurs hôtels autrichiens ce fut une grosse déconvenue, et une nuit déplorable. Nous avons quitté l'hôtel à 10 h sans voir personne et comme nous étions passés par booking, nous avions l'esprit tranquille, nous ignorions qu'il fallait notre accord pour débloquer le paiement. Nous avons aussitôt régularisé la situation lorsque hôtel nous a contactés.

Cons:

La conception de l'établissement est problématique avec cette dalle en béton qui est très sonore, d'autre part nous avons manqué d'explication pour organiser notre arrivée, on dit que le client est roi, nous sommes loin du compte, passer l'aspirateur lorsque les clients tentent de se reposer est honteux, très mauvaise expérience en cette fin de voyage
