Ein entzückendes kleines Hotel. Ausgestattet mit einem hübschen Sammelsurium von Antiquitäten, gepaart mit Komfort-totale Wohlfühlzone. Wir hatten das "Sissi -Zimmer" -groß mit integriertem Badezimmer mit Dusche und getrenntem WC. Bett sehr bequem-modern.
Besonders zu empfehlen-das exquisite Frühstück. Liebevoll von der charmanten Besitzerin angerichtet. Alles was das Herz begehrt auf einer Etagere angerichtet(versch.Schinken, hervorragende Käse, Tomaten/Caprese mit Pesto, Gemüse, frische Früchte) selbstgemachte Marmeladen(Marille/ Ribisel/Sauerkirsche) und Aufstriche(Liptauer, Kräutertopfen) in kleinen Schüsserl, Leberaufstrich, Butter usw. Versch. Eierspeisen auf Wunsch und hervorragende Gebäckauswahl-frisch und warm.
Das Gastgeberehepaar lebt das Hotel mit Liebe zum Detail.
Früher hatten sie noch einen sogenannten"Privattable" im Weinkeller, wo der Hausherr selber Steaks usw. In einem 3-gängigen Menü mit Weinbegleitung serviert hat.
Ein totales Herzstück in Weißenkirchen-unbedingt Station machen.

Comfortable and characterful hotel in delightful surroundings.
Pros:

Weissenkirchen is a small village in the beautiful Danube valley, and Ur-Wachau lies at its centre. It is close to great restaurants and vineyards, superb walking, and there is a decent bus service along the valley. You can also join a river cruise here if you wish.
The hotel is fabulous, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the style uses local antique furniture which makes it very characterful. Herr and Frau Roisl are excellent hosts, laying on a superb buffet breakfast, and very happy to make recommendations.

Cons:

We enjoyed everything about Ur-Wachau. Parking in the village is limited so, if you can, it’s a good idea to rent some garage space from the hotel.
