Pros:

Super équipe,le petit déjeuner est super bon et malheureusement on n’a pas eu le temps de goûter le dîner du restaurant.Un lieux avec une bonne énergie pour une bonne déconnexion

En dehors de l'agitation de Guatape
Pros:

Nous avions la chambre Merak, assez quelconque et sans charme particulier.
Par contre, l'emplacement est idéal, loin de l'agitation de Guatape, avec une belle vue.
Le jeune homme qui nous a accueilli et a été toujours présent pour nous aider, parle anglais et est remarquable de courtoisie.
A souligner, la qualité des petits déjeuners, mais surtout, des dîners. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits, nous avons testé 5 plats principaux différents, viandes, poissons, tout était absolument délicieux.

Cons:

L'insonorisation des chambres peut poser problème si vous avez des voisins bruyants (paroles, TV), ce qui nous est arrivé 1 nuit sur 3.

We cannot wait to come back.
Pros:

EXCELLENT food, all made from vegetables and eggs grown on the property. The view of the water and landscape from the rooms and restaurant are exactly why you come to Guatape. Felipe and Marietta made us feel right at home - 11 out of 10 customer service. And the star of the show is Mara, the Australian Cattle Dog who roams the property. What a sweet little girl.

Pros:

Good hôtel and good good.
But very disappointed by the lack of beach (no bar, no volley ball court available, compared with what was described on the website…)
And anyway swimming in the lake is forbidden, because of water quality…!

A wonderful friendly place to stay in Guatape
Pros:

We loved staying here, it was really peaceful and the views wonderful. Felipe was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome (helped us with our Spanish too!). The restaurant food was excellent quality and we dined both nights here and sat under a lovely patio heater. A friendly dog hangs around looking for snacks! Rooms well laid out, big windows looking out to the gardens which a lot of the dinner veg comes from. We used the shuttle service back to Medellín airport for the 180,000 COP.

Cons:

These are minor points, and speaks a bit to our recent experiences in Medellín. A fridge in the room supplied two cokes and two waters which I had assumed were included. No price list was on display anywhere in the room. I should not have assumed, but it needs to be clearer that this is a paid minibar (and in which case made a little more extensive with some beers and other sodas) Also we asked for an extra cup of coffee (just a simple cafe con leche, not a fancy barista coffee) with our included breakfast and got charged extra for it at checkout. Given we have stayed in places far cheaper in Colombia that have provided free juice and coffee all day, this seemed a little unnecessary. Fine again if we are told it’s extra, but we only found out at checkout. The breakfast could be a little more generous generally with some fruit or juice included rather than just an egg dish (albeit freshly made) and one coffee.
Finally, the WiFi is very hit and miss. This wasn’t a problem for us at all and we understand it’s the countryside with the challenges this brings. However if connectivity it’s important to you, you may want to take this into consideration before booking.

Séjour fantastique
Pros:

Séjour de 3 nuits à Guatapé ; hôtel fantastique d'une propreté irréprochable avec chambre vue sur le rocher.
L'extérieur, salle de restaurant, bar etc .... très bien entretenu ; petit déjeuner excellent. Nous avons même diner, carte simple mais tellement bien préparé. Et le personnel, d'une gentillesse et à notre service. Vraiment MERCI. Pas prêt d'oublié ce séjour ....

Pros:

It was an incredible experience, very peaceful, next to the mountains, the place is very beautiful. I think it is magnificent that there are animals. The food is wonderful, I was very surprised, how delicious it was. Many thanks to the Arvum family for making us feel at home. We will definitely return.
