Pros:

Lage, Personal, Möglichkeit, im anderen Hotel zu frühstücken

Cons:

Zimmer zum Hof morgens etwas laut, ansonsten wenig Leben im Hotel, Wanne nicht geeignet für Personen mit Mobilitätseiinschränkungen

Would definitely stay again.
Pros:

The location was fantastic. It’s right in the old walled city, close to the cathedral. It’s near great restaurants and grocery stores. We didn’t make it to breakfast, but heard the breakfast at their sister hotels is great and is included in the price. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, the shower was hot, and the pillows were perfect. It was pretty quiet at night. The only thing we didn’t love was the blanket on the bed was really thin. We should’ve turned the A/C down as we were a little cold at night. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay again.

Las habitaciones muy oscuras, el baño no es cerrado, no me gustó esto porque si alguien iba al baño, quedaba toda la habitación con mal olor

Lovely place in a great location
Pros:

Very comfortable bed, liked the aesthetic of the place as well, hot shower, helpful staff, room was refreshed every day and a little sweet treat left out, which was a nice touch. Excellent location for the old town, lovely stay!

Cons:

Breakfast was fine but fairly basic, felt a bit expensive.

Une nuit à Carthagène avant de partir pour la côte caribéenne.
Pros:

Hôtel de caractère bien situé, en plein centre. Chambre spacieuse. Bon petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Accueil du 1er jour un peu limite.
Notre jeune interlocuteur du second jour était nettement plus avenant et serviable.

Absolutely amazing, we loved every minute of staying at Alfiz
Pros:

The breakfast was freshly made, simple and good quality. Fresh fruit and a choose of eggs cooked in various ways. This was fine for a weekend but would be limited choice for longer however, the hotel is paired with 2 others which you can access nearby for breakfast. their range was much larger and we enjoyed waffles with fresh fruit there.
The location was amazing, near the port where we arrived from an island, in the centre of the old town. We loved the authenticity of the hotel.

Staff were kind, friendly and hard working and the hotel was immaculate. When we realised we had left some money behind the staff went out of their way to try and sort the matter for us.

Cons:

Wir waren das dritte und letzte Mal im Alfiz. In der Früchteschale lag eine Mandarine mit Schimmel. Das Personal war generell desinteressiert. Zum Frühstück gab es keine Auswahl etc.

Pros:

Very disappointing. Room was not clean - bath/shower so old. So noisy too - we could hear literally everything going on in the room next to us

Magical and Authentic Cartagena Experience
Pros:

It was really nice to have the free breakfast included but also to have the option to have breakfast at two of the other sister hotels within walking distance, which provided a little variety. We also loved that the hotel was able to accommodate our early check in request because our room was unoccupied- this allowed us to drop our bags, freshen up and immediately explore the city. We were sad to hear they plan to renovate the hotel to a more modern look, the historic charm of the hotel is what makes it so special. You feel a part of the local architecture versus modern fixtures in a historical city. We encourage the hotel to maintain its old Cartagena magic.

Cons:

The WiFi was very spotty.
