Un voyage dans un hôtel qui raconte une histoire touchante de la ville
Pros:

Dépaysement total, cadre absolument magnifique et hors du temps. Bien situé dans un quartier riche d'histoire mais totalement tranquille et sécurisé. Séjour inoubliable. Tout était parfait. Le personnel était très accueillant et professionnel. Ils nous ont aidé dans plein de domaines et je recommande chaleureusement.

Cons:

Humidité dans la chambre très importante. Les draps étaient humides pas très confortables du coup de pour s'endormir.

Piccola perla nel cuore degli Hutongs. Vacanza perfetta sotto ogni aspetto.

Personale molto cortese ed ospitale.
Posizione della struttura perfetta per chi desidera un posto tranquillo, centrale e di piccole dimensioni. Ottimi ristoranti nelle vicinanze.
Atmosfera locale in zona Hutongs.
Colazione inclusa, mix tra cucina asiatica ed occidentale, apprezzata per freschezza degli alimenti.
Stanza confortevole e di dimensioni generose, considerando si trova all’interno di una casa d’epoca, ristrutturata. Piccolo tocco di raffinatezza, la corte interna con piccolo giardino, stagno e tea rooms.
Frutta fresca offerta la sera e consegnata direttamente dal personale.

Cons:

Temperatura della stanza molto alta e difficilmente regolabile, ma ovviato con finestra parzialmente lasciata aperta per compensare.

It was a wonderful experience.
Pros:

The staff were friendly, service was attentive,
serving of fruit each time we returned.
The courtyard was well maintained, bed was very comfy. Breakfast was lovely. Walking distance to late night restaurants.

Cons:

The smart toilet some times didn’t work properly.
The shower needed attention to the tiling and drainage.
There was no washing machine to use. Needed to hand wash clothes. Staff provided hangers and informed where we can hang to dry clothes.

Pros:

The place is quite unique if you want to experience the "courtyard house" concept. The surroundings are quiet, it is still a good experience for 1 or 2 nights

Cons:

It's located at the end of the alley, total distance is just about 750m but driving needs 6 mins coz of the narrowness of the alley. Most Didi drivers are not willing to drive in coz it's pretty challenging honestly. We were quite puzzled if we arrive at the right hotel coz the entrance door looks much smaller than the photos on the website.

The moment we stepped in, it felt like a ryokan (民宿). With avg. SGD350/night, deep in my heart I felt sth is off!

There's this young lady who received us, and the first thing she did was get my credit card and make the transaction of our stay. Right after the payment was done, she told us that we needed to change room on the last night of our stay, we were told that rooms are assigned based on availability for the days/ period we booked (I mean which hotel doesn't do this?!). Despite all the unwillingness, she insisted that we have to change room.

When I asked for iron/ steamer on the morning of the day we were supposed to move, I was told that the ONE & ONLY steamer is rented out to another room and the customer has yet to wake up. They can only send it to me when the customer wakes up! 🙄

While I couldn't even get a simple request fulfilled, she reminded me twice to pack my luggage and get ready for them to move to another room.

When we were back at night on the 2nd night, we were told that they have upgraded us to an upper tier room FOC. This room looks more like a $350 room to me. We spent our last night in this "better" room packing our luggage and get ready to check out the next morning -__- Didn't really enjoy much tho.

Il personale è gentile e cerca di venirti incontro con il traduttore anche se non parlano inglese.
Bello che ogni tanto ti portano un piatto di frutta. La stanza era pulita, anche le salviette.
Colazione cinese ok anche per un occidentale. Le stanze sono tutte al piano terra, non è un palazzo, e questo è sicuramente un punto a favore perché c’è meno gente ed è più intimo

Cons:

È situato in una via strettissima, difficilmente raggiungibile dalle auto senza fare la fiancata , quindi non comodissimo se serve passaggio fino all hotel, anche se su 3 delle volte che abbiamo preso taxi/Didi solo uno non è entrato nella via e ci ha lasciato sulla strada principale.
Inoltre i bagni, come riscontrato spesso, non hanno una vera porta. La zona lavandino è praticamente in camera, mentre bagno e doccia sono divisi solo da una porta di vetro temperato che si appoggia (non si chiude effettivamente). In sostanza si sente tutto. Anche l’insonorizzazione non è il massimo

Pros:

The staff were really kind and friendly, especially Xiao Ying who served us fruit and tea after we came back from sightseeing. Perfect location for visiting forbidden city or shopping. A calm and relaxing environment where we enjoyed our last night in Beijing. The breakfast was Chinese traditional style which really suits the place. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Cons:

A bit expensive.
