Cheap - Get what you pay for
Pros:

Breakfast option were very limited, not sure how long the egg had been cooked for but it looked like a toy plastic egg, sausage was tasty but not hot enough

Cons:

TV didn't work
Bed old and uncomfortable
Very dated
Shower was hot but flow was below average
Chair in room was older than the curtains and they were older than the hills, all chairs in dining room were old and scruffy

Clean. Friendly staff.

Cons:

They closed bar area early Saturday night. 10 of us got back at 11 o’clock and couldn’t have a nightcap.

Ground level entry to room & space for car right outside the door.

Comfy bed, great breakfast, great location.
Pros:

Great location, a 5 minute walk from the beach. Bus stop right outside into town. A brilliant breakfast. Large car park and you can park right outside your room. One floor, so no one stomping about in the room above you. Great restaurant bar area.

Cons:

The walls are thin (like many hotels) so I do normally ask for a quiet room. The staff are brilliant and will put me in a quieter area if possible.

Convenient base when visiting locality.
