Convenient base when visiting locality.

Pleasant enough; food good, staff on the whole cheerful and helpful. Shower could be improved.

The staff were very helpful and friendly; the food was of a good quality.

Cons:

The shower hardly had any water pressure, the bed mattress was quite dated and the décor tired looking.

We were told upon booking that we would be able to enter the rooms at 1.00pm, instead of 2.00pm because we had travelled from Suffolk to attend a wedding but this was not possible when we arrived.

Will if need be come and stay again, 👍
Pros:

The breakfast was great, service was absolutely fine, coffee could have been a tad warmer, but hay-hoe you can’t please everyone 🤪
My only disappointment was the room was a bit musty, but once in there, opened the windows and everything was fine.👍

Cons:

The price of the alcohol, cost me an arm and a leg, 🤪😂 only joking, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, sadly it was to attend my brothers funeral, but my stay was enjoyable, thank you.

It was adequate for 1 night stay over. Staff and breakfast were excellent.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and adequate for 1 night stop over. The staff were excellent helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Oh the bed was awful. Felt like sleeping on a wooden table. Worst night sleep ever. The shower was useless. Nice size and clean but zero pressure. Wasn't worth even trying to have one.

Pros:

We always stay at Abbey Hotel when we go back to the Island, my home place. Minster! We would not stay anywhere else when visiting family and friends on Sheppey. Excellent price for B&B. Breakfast is very good, all food is delicious. Very friendly and very helpful staff. All staff! Very clean. No complaints! Pucker! Thank you.

Cons:

I was away each morning before breakfast so no rating. The room was cold on arrival, its radiator barely tepid and only at the bottom. I asked for a radiator valve key to bleed it myself, none available would you believe?!!! And nobody available to see to it either as the young man attending reception/bar is practically useless. . The towel rail in the bathroom was worse, completely cold. I asked for another room. None available. I asked for a portable heater, none available. I spent the night in my own clothes in bed with an extra blanket. WiFi next to useless, so I used my own data tethered to the laptop. At the bar no tab allowed as it was before. I expect to pay one bill at the end only everywhere I travel. I had to pay for each drink one by one which is nonsense. No restaurant on Friday evening so I had to go out and find somewhere else. The bar always seems to be full of yobs in work clothes, this time a bunch of rowdy noisy scotch blokes whom I did not want to listen to so I went back to my room. I won't stay here again in future, this place is tired and has gone downhill.

Pleasant hotel would stay again
Pros:

Warm and clean, freindly staff, hotel a little dated but that was ok breakfast was good

You can not see the entrance when driving into the grounds no lighting this could be quite dangerous
