AMAZING!
Pros:

A friend of mine recommended this place to us and it was everything we had hoped and more! It was such a unique experience to be surrounded by monkeys and other wildlife (except Lulu the parrot, who can stuff it). Frey and Matteo are so kind. They go out of their way to ensure that every guest gets the perfect experience. The breakfast was lovely. The accommodations are rustic but functional. I loved sitting on our porch and watching the ducks or the dogs, occasionally being visited by a curious monkey or bird. The sounds of the rainforest at nighttime are unreal.

Cons:

This didn't bug me, but just FYI. We had a private cabana with a private ensuite, but it had no drain for the shower, and no ventilation (no windows either), so our bathroom got more than a little gross. There is no hot water, but this is standard in Puerto Narino. I doubt this town attracts people who need these creature comforts, but just FYI.

Pros:

Me encanto este lugar, en medio de la naturaleza, con monos y aves de diferentes tipos conviviendo en libertad. Un sitio muy tranquilo, a 20 min caminando de puerto Narino. Fray es muy amable y atento. Nos prestaron el Kayak del hotel pero recomiendo no usarlo ya que esta averiado y en la mitad del lago que esta al frente se nos metio el agua y se nos voltio y afortunadamente paso por ahi una lancha que nos llevo devuelta al hotel. Al lado hay un hotel que rentan kayaks a 35 mil pesos. Mejor usas esos.

CONEXIÓN CON LA NATURALEZA/ DESCONEXIÓN CON EL MUNDO COTIDIANO
Pros:

La interacción con los animales como monitos y aves es mágica. Yo quería estar muy cerca de los monos y este lugar fue el ideal para cumplir con este sueño. El Frai es un excelente anfitrión, nos enseñó con orgullo lo que han logrado construír, el respeto por la naturaleza y el valorar la desconexión con el mundo externo para recargarce de la energía de la tierra.

Allí también conocimos a Jeremy, un extranjero que se enamoró de Puerto Nariño y ahora hace parte del equipo. Nos encantó su amor por los animales y carisma. Mateo, quien también hace parte del equipo es una persona muy agradable y servicial.

Si eres una persona que disfruta y respeta la naturaleza, este lugar es para ti.
Gracias por la hospitalidad y atención.

Cons:

Debemos tener en cuenta que nosotros somos la especie invasora en medio de la hermosa selva amazónica, sin embargo, una buena limpieza y revisión en cada cabaña a fin de que no aparezcan animales realmente peligrosos como serpientes venenosas estaría muy bien, a fin de evitar alguna emergencia o calamidad.

Allí no vas a encontrar lujos o comodidades, es un lugar en medio de la selva y como tal se trata de que sea ecosostenible, sin embargo, a algunas partes del lugar le vendría bien un mantenimiento o remodelación.

Con la reserva deberían envíar indicaciones claras de acceso al lugar vía terrestre o fluvial, horarios sugeridos de llegada, tipo de condiciones en cuanto a comida y provisiones necesarias para la estadía.

J'ai été très touchée par l'accueil très chaleureux d'Elena et de son frère, on se sent vraiment tout de suite en famille dans ce lieu un peu à l'écart du village et cela vaut vraiment la peine.
La pièce commune donne sur le jardin et sur le fleuve, c'est un endroit très convivial où très vite on rencontre d'autres voyageurs. Le petit déjeuner est royal et servi avec attention.

Cons:

De puerto Nariño hasta el hospedaje ,debes pagar bote o irte caminando 25 minutos .llegas y no venden absolutamente nada de comida ni bebidas en ningún horario, debes devolverte a Puerto Nariño ,pero en el camino hay perros bravos de 9:30pm hasta 4:30am , además pueden salir animales por la cercanía al brazo del río.

La presión del agua es muy baja, no hay televisión, en cuanto relación precio / servicio siendo 90 por persona.

Stay with Monkeys!
Pros:

Si eres amante de los animales y te encanta la interactuación con ellos este es tu lugar :)! Los micos están libres pero vienen a cierta hora para acomodarse a dormir bajo del techo de las cabañas. También hay 3 papagayos que te saludan y despiden en vuelo.

En la noche se escucha el sonido de la jungla con ranas, insectos y pájaros, nada más.

Don Fray y su hermana Elena son muy amables anfitriones y te pueden ayudar en la planificación con excursiones.

Cons:

La cabaña está un poco lejos de Puerto Nariño, a 1,5 km así que tienes que estar bien de pie. Pero durante el día se puede tomar un bote que te deja allá para 5 soles. Por eso es bueno que haya una cocina para poder prepararse comida.

Irresponsible local guides and cabanas that need improvement
Pros:

It is nice to see a few different types of monkeys and ara's upclose since they are being fed but still have the liberty to go where they want and roam freely

Friendly owners

Cons:

Communication before arriving was difficult - had to ask 4x if I could pay with reals and did not respond properly upon my questions

It is far out of town : 30min walk if you want to eat or buy something

Did not have a good sleep because of the neighbouring cabana playing loud music and talking loudly till midnight; another night had loud dripping of the pipes on the roof and another night had 1 of the dogs barking loud at 2:45am for a long while

Room was not cleaned during my 4 day stay

Hardly any water coming out of the shower - when told to Elena, nothing happened

When it rained during the last night I found my clothes on the bed being wet as parts of the roof are rusty

They work with irresponsible guides : Jonathan sowed up 1 hour late and Felix wanted to go to an upper community that cannot be done on foot and eventually did not show up for the night walk. Upon arrival Elena told me they work with them for years but when I complained the brother told me they were a hospedaje only. My advice : do not book any tours here : they will overcharge you and guides come late or do not show up at all

Great authentic place for a jungle experience
