My experience at the Palm Shadow Hotel in Tunis was more than wonderful, and it truly deserves a 10/10 rating. My wife, our two children, and I swore by it; the stay was comfortable and enjoyable in every detail.
This isn't my first visit, but it has become my favorite destination in Fayoum, thanks to the consistently high level of service and comfort it offers every time.
The first thing that distinguishes the place is its pleasant tranquility, which provides a genuine sense of relaxation and escape from the pressures of life. It's relatively quiet and ideal for families seeking a cooler climate.
The standard was very high, both in the private and public rooms, with attention to detail every day. The room was suitable for everything we needed as a family.
As for the food, it was a truly special experience, especially the all-inclusive meal of local quail, which was excellent, wonderful, and authentic for us in the beautiful countryside. The all-inclusive meal was varied and delicious, suitable for Indian adults, and presented with high quality and attention to detail.
The cooperation was exceptional, especially from Mr. Mina, who was incredibly kind and courteous, always available to help with a smile. All the staff were friendly, professional, and dedicated to ensuring guest comfort.
The entertainment options were varied and enjoyable, which we and our children used throughout our stay, making it an integral part of any relaxing moment.
Frankly, the Palm Shadow Tunis Hotel offers a perfect blend of tranquility, quality service, and delicious food, making it an ideal choice for families. It will continue to be my favorite destination in Fayoum.

Ho avuto un’esperienza eccezionale al Palm Shadow Resort a Fayoum. Il soggiorno è stato perfetto sotto ogni aspetto.
La colazione era ricca, varia e di altissima qualità, con opzioni fresche e deliziose adatte a tutti i gusti. La pulizia delle camere e delle aree comuni era impeccabile, dimostrando grande attenzione ai dettagli.
Lo staff è stato estremamente cordiale, professionale e sempre disponibile ad aiutare con un sorriso, rendendo l’atmosfera molto accogliente e rilassante. Il livello di comfort è stato eccellente, permettendo un vero relax lontano dallo stress quotidiano.

منتجع بالم شادو فاق كل التوقعات افضل فندق بصراحة من حيث النظافة ومستوى الخدمة الموظفين متعاونين جدا وخدومين حجزنا شالية كانت مساحتة كبيرة ونظيف جدا ومتعقم والفرش نظيف ولا غلطة بصراحة بيبذلوا اقصي مجهود لراحة الجيست خصوصا مستر مينا ساعدنا في ان التجربة تكون مريحة والاكل عندهم موضوع تاني خالص تحفة تحفة ونظيف رغم اني كنت شوفت بعض الكومنتات وكنت قلقان من الاكل بس بصراحة بحب اجرب واحكم بنفسي وفعلا طلعت تجربة ولا أروع و طلع الاكل حلو جدا الفطير ممتاز وشوفنا الستات وهي بتعمله الصبح والعيش والاكل الفلاحي سمن بلدي وآخر دلع وكان بيتي وجميل وطعمة خطير كمان الاسعار مناسبة بالنسبة لجودة الاكل فعلا مهتمين بكل تفاصيل الفندق والجنينة تجربة جميلة جدا وهتتكرر كتيررر شكرا كل القائمين علي منتجع بألم شادو

- breakfeast was very limited (foul or feteer) only (they charged us for juice) - plus the breakfeast took like 30 mins to be ready (even though we got 2 plates only)
- room was very small (i booked a superior room not standard)
- no indoor pool as stated in the booking.com description
The property is located in a pleasant area and features a very beautiful garden, which creates a शांत and enjoyable atmosphere.
However, despite having booked and prepaid for a specific double deluxe room with a garden view and balcony, the check-in experience was somewhat confusing. Upon arrival, we were shown several different rooms to choose from, which was time-consuming and left us uncertain as to whether we would ultimately receive the room matching our reservation and expectations.
On a positive note, the restaurant staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and responsive to our requests, which we truly appreciated.
There are a few areas where improvement would enhance the overall experience. The room lighting in the evening was insufficient, and there was limited storage space, with no drawers or suitable areas to place personal belongings. Additionally, it was not indicated at the time of booking that the room was located on the second floor with a considerable number of stairs, which proved challenging for my mother.
Finally, the reception service could be improved, as the process felt somewhat slow and at times unclear.
Overall, while the property has strong potential due to its location and ambiance, addressing these points would significantly improve the guest experience
break fast was horrible , food stuff was not enough , no set menu other than Egyptian. even the item mentioned in the menu was not present .
food served was not upto the mark , even we have taken food in another hotel near by Lazib inn resort . actually at the time of booking , lazib inn was not available , hence we have to book Palm shadow resort

Cleanliness and good location in Tunis village
1-No WiFi in the rooms
2-the room was very small
The hotel responded positively to my request for a better room and upgraded my booking to a more modern “Golden Room,” which I appreciated. The staff were consistently polite and welcoming, and their warm attitude made my stay more pleasant overall.
The upgraded room I received was unexpectedly small. I was offered the option to move to the original room, which was more spacious; however, it was outdated and poorly maintained, with two single beds and a very small television.
Additionally, the à la carte breakfast was disappointing. Only one drink was included—either tea or coffee—with no juice or fruit provided, and I was informed that even a bottle or glass of water would need to be purchased. This is not acceptable for a hotel of this standard.
Finally, the presence of mosquitos in the rooms was an issue. Given that this appears to be a known problem, it would be reasonable for the hotel to ensure regular mosquito control or room treatment.
