Pros:

Secure parking, pretty building, very nice room. In-room amenities very good. Staff friendly, restaurant was cosy albeit menu is a little short, but food was very good. Access to New Forest is quick.

Cons:

Local area is not very interesting.

Very enjoyable stay despite the inevitable shortcomings of a period property. Happy to come again.
Pros:

Welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Great food and great value.

Cons:

Room was in the eaves, small, 3 floors up with no lift. Fitted air conditioning not working, so large, noisy (but efficient) portable unit provided with elephant hose hanging out of the window.

The staff were brilliant, food was fantastic and a perfect stop over.
Pros:

Beautifully decorated and it felt very homely.

Cons:

It’s definitely a smaller version of a Pig Hotel but perfect as it is.
