Pros:

Excellent cooked breakfast, location perfect for last minute shopping before our cruise

Cons:

Due to exceptional hot weather additional air condition unit was placed in our room which was noisier than the built in air condition, we thought the additional unit didn’t really make a difference to the temperature si turned it off.

Excellent stay for a short break
Pros:

Very comfortable and excellent service. Only one small complaint was no good mirror for shaving/make up.

As above plus the ticking clock which had to be removed to bathroom

Cons:

For £379 a night one would expect a bigger room, bigger bathroom, a more comfortable bed and the capacity to open windows. This was a really disappointing experience.

Delightful hotel, unfortunately the aircon not working left us with a poor impression of the facilities.
Pros:

This is a very nice boutique hotel (well situated relative to activities and the cruise ports) with comfortable rooms and pleasant staff.

Cons:

1. The air con was not working properly during our two night stay. Our room temperature was28C, which made for poor sleeping conditions and hence difficulty in getting over jet lag. However, after we raised the issue with the hotel mgmnt, they refunded some of our stay.
2. Back staircase steps are narrow and the ceiling is low, difficult to manage if you are older or. Have a physical issues.

Lovely place, great atmosphere and service.
Pros:

Position in Southampton. The decor and vibe. The architecture. The welcome, service and staff.

Cons:

Room was SOOOOO hot. Even with additional aircon the room temperature overnight was 32 degrees, dropping only to 30 degrees by 7:30am.

We’ve stayed at two Pigs previously so we’re surprised by the limited menu and eating space.
Was not informed of the parking charge when booking.

Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, and our room was lovely. The staff were friendly, and although they were very busy, they were attentive. Breakfast was tasty, but where was the bacon in the piggy breakfast?
Overall, because this was an anniversary treat, we were delighted with our stay. The accommodation is rather overpriced (London prices), but we know this is a niche hotel and we will look at staying at other Pig establishments.

Pros:

Secure parking, pretty building, very nice room. In-room amenities very good. Staff friendly, restaurant was cosy albeit menu is a little short, but food was very good. Access to New Forest is quick.
