Comfortable, convenient, friendly and enjoyable hotel

Breakfast great.

Cons:

Bed was a double but seemed quite small.
For the rate we paid I would have expected a bigger bed.
So didn’t sleep most of the night. Everything else was lovely.

Excellent family stay!
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming right through the booking process and during our stay. The facilities were perfect for our large family group celebrating Christmas.
We stayed in Barn 3 which was spacious, clean and warm with everything we needed. Thankyou so much. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful building, Stay was comfortable & staff friendly.
Pros:

The historical building.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok but not great. Coffee wasn’t good & continental a bit sparse.
Room booked was changed, booked a room in hotel but was changed to a cottage without asking.

Disappointing and very over priced
Cons:

Theres wasnt enough breakfast for the amount of guest service was slow, Bedroom was very dated , cramped small double bed and dirty floor

Pros:

Comfortable beds, mostly peaceful location, lovely, helpful staff, beautiful building, great pool, lovely cooked or continental breakfast, resident peacocks, and wild birds lovely.

Cons:

Very loud footfall and talking of guests in room above.
Bathroom badly needs updating.
