Beautiful property in perfect location. Lovely reception staff. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Excellent parking facilities. Excellent WiFi.
Small bath towels. Those horrid uht milk portions in bedroom. A lot of bird noise outside window of bedroom.
Excellent customer service. Very friendly staff. Although no restaurant, the manager/owner arranged for his son to got out and pick up food locally for 8 of us. It was stated the bar closed at 9 but they kept it open for us up to midnight while putting up with a group of slightly raucous bikers. Fantastic breakfast .Highly recommended.

The hotel overall is nice and cosy but in need of a bit of refurbishment.
The room was quite good, very clean bedding and working TV. There is a kettle with mugs and teas.
The water pressure in the bathroom wasn't strong enough, and there is still some room for improvement regarding the overall cleanliness of the room. We also experienced some issues on the first ni
ght with noise from people talking until the early hours. While the breakfast is generous in size, it would be better if the quality of the ingredients were improved.

A beautiful building on the outside with plenty of parking and a quiet location.

Room freezing. 🥶. On arrival no heating turned on. Oil filled heater in the room
Went to reception and got the heating turned on and another portable heater ( that didn’t) work. When heating had kicked in it was better but cold 🥶 room . Pool out of use too
The grounds the hotel were in were lovely, very scenic, breakfast was good and the rooms was ok, staff were attentive too.
When we arrived to check in we noticed the hotel was is being used as a HMO/boarding for imigrants who were using the conference room to get together, cook their own meals, and wander around the hotel in their PJ's. Yet we book a night away for Valentines and are charged full whack for your stay when the hotel in not being used for it's purpose. We left feeling very disappointed as if we had know this we'd have obviously looked at booking somewhere different. Maybe we shouldn't have stayed and requested our money back but after travelling all day what are you expected to when your tired and just want to rest.
