Check room descriptions carefully
Pros:

Exceptional breakfast selection, decent sized rooms, lots of outdoor area for young ones to run around in and excellently situated for runs in the hills, visiting local villages and castle Pernštejn

Cons:

We thought that the rooms we booked had balconies and big windows, as the photos shown when we clicked the specific room choice included photos of balconies and big windows. However, unlike other booking.com properties, it turned out that these were generic photos and not photos of the rooms we were booking. The rooms we were given did not have balconies. As a warning to others, you cannot rely on the room photos - check the room description carefully instead. We found this a bit misleading and took it up with the staff but they were fully booked so couldn't move us. This was disappointing as we have a young child and so one of us was trapped in the room in the evenings, so having a balcony to sit out on and enjoy the beautiful location was important to us! It didn't affect our enjoyment as the overall stay was pleasant. In addition the restaurant was closed entirely on Sunday which we hadn't anticipated
