Think twice
Pros:

Staff was friendly. Free ferry across the Nile on demand. Nice grounds.

Cons:

Rickety furniture, lighting so dim you couldn't read anything but a phone screen day or night in the room, very hard beds.

Pros:

L'équipe est au petit soin et de bons conseils. Nous sommes passées par l'hôtel pour réserver une sortie en mongolfière et nous avons bien fait. Prise en charge parfaite :)
L'hôtel est très agréable et la vue sur le Nil est imprenable.

Heel vriendelijke hotelmedewerkers! De gratis veerboot van het hotel is zeker een pluspunt! Na het bezoeken van bezienswaardigheden in Luxor was het fijn vertoeven in de tuin/aan het zwembad van het hotel.

Cons:

De matrassen waren nogal hard.

Magnifique bâtisse avec un joli jardin donnant sur le Nil.
Joliment décoré de boiseries et objets chinés de partout.
Réception façon cathédrale très impressionnante.

Cons:

Quel dommage que ce décor splendide ne soit pas en accord avec les prestations proposées.
Literie peu confortable, peu d'équipements (ni bouilloire, ni sèche cheveux...)
Restaurant au menu basique. Serveurs gentils mais pas en accord avec ce type d'établissement.
Petit déjeuner décevant.
Notre avis n'est pas le seul en ce sens, nous aurions dû les consulter avant.
Pas d'alcool pour un cocktail au bord de la piscine alors que la patronne sirote une bouteille de rosé en bonne compagnie.
Madame, soyez donc consciente des avis de vos clients afin que ce qui devrait être un très bel hôtel retrouve de sa superbe.

Pros:

A great place to stay when in Luxor. On the West bank for peace and relaxation, with a hotel boat on call to the East bank. A lovely and novel design. Staff friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out very smooth.

Superbe séjour. Nous avons eu du mal à quitter cet endroit délicieux.
Pros:

L accueil de la propriétaire anglaise est exceptionnel. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la rencontrer.
L hôte est reposant, très bien entretenu. Mention spécial au personnel qui est vraiment adorable et disponible.

Exellent hotel pour visiter Louxor avec le calme d'une bananeraie au bord du Nil.
Pros:

Hôtel de charme avec un emplacement idéal: au calme et pourtant si proche de tous les spots culturels. L'hôtel propose son propre bateau-taxi pour traverser le Nil pour aller au temple de Louxor, au musée de Louxor, ou à une station de taxi. Pour la vallée des rois etc, il suffit de demander une voiture avec chauffeur à la réception, top! Le petit déjeuner servi au bord de la piscine est copieux, servi par un personnel aux petits soins. La piscine est grande, située au bord du Nil, la vue est magnifique. Les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût et très spacieuses, avec une terrasse privative bien orientée.

Cons:

Si vraiment, il fallait trouver quelque chose, l'éclairage pour lire au lit pourrait être revu. Une broutille...

Super fun and relaxing stay on the east bank !! Loved it !
Pros:

Marina is such a wonderful host ! Helping arrange a car for the day , giving us tips and ideas ! The property is funky and unique . Breakfast view couldn’t be better! The staff are very kind and welcoming . The rooms are one of a kind !!

Cons:

The electrical is old so your phone chargers do not plug in properly - you have to finagle . The wifi is spotty , the beds ( at least in our room ) were super hard , but we still had a good nights sleep . Our room needed more bathroom lighting , you barely can see when you shower ….and it is difficult to get in that shower if you are older …. Little things that really do not diminish the fabulous place to stay though!

Pros:

A real oasis of peace and beauty. The staff were all lovely, The freely available boat service is really handy. The food was good with interesting and varied choices everyday. We hired bikes to see the sites of Luxor independently, which was an unusual choice but I would recommend!
