Cons:

There could have been more choices at dinner we stayed three nights unfortunately the limited menu never changed, must say we enjoyed what we ate.

Lovely country retreat
Pros:

Lovely old building with traditional decor, lovely and homely! We stayed in the annex and had our own little terrace into the wooded area, it was so peaceful and we wish we had more time to spend at the hotel!

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel, we stayed for two nights as a family of 4. Room was a great size and it was nice and clean.
5 minute drive into Inverness which was great.

Cons:

We decided to add on breakfast when we arrived so paid for it when we checked in.
When we arrived to breakfast the following morning staff took the order and then came back to the table and very loudly stated we must pay for breakfast before we can order. After explaining we’ve paid we assumed that was cleared up. We were asked again to pay another 2 times, although we had paid the staff were loud and felt a little abrupt. Upon checkout we were asked again to pay for the breakfast.
I know this can sometimes just be a technical glitch (not showing the payment as cleared etc but we felt the staffs customer service skills could have been better and an apology would have been nice when it was clear we had paid.
