This is a wonderful hotel on the top of a hillside right on the outskirts a beautiful town!
Pros:

All meals are delicious and provided at the lobby/ check in area at breakfast lunch and dinner. They offer delicious Santander staples such as arepa and caldo.
They have a wonderful hotel suite that is separated from all the others. Perfect for honeymoons

Cons:

It would have been nice to have more furnishings in the room, but these were provided by the kind and helpful staff.

Beds, so hard, no fan, no air conditioning, the bathroom in our 3 rooms were nasty, hair in the bathroom wall , like it was the new decor, it was a used soap in the shower still, we were downstairs, but ppl upstairs were so noise, and bunch of kids jumping around, the whole green part have a strong smell of dog poop (I hope it was dogs and cats only)
So it's a per friendly, but the rooms are too close together, they are little and ppl walk their dogs at 1, 2, 3 am and it was like dogs fight, barking and we couldn't sleep, number one, the room was too hot, so we open the window, but have to closed because a strong smell of Marijuana cache to our room, second the barking of the dogs and ppl taking outside.
The swimming pool was a joke, good size of pool, but water were green and dirty, I saw a dog getting in to it, after I spoke to the manager she told me that the town didn't have water for 2 weeks, but if you couldn't treat the pool, just put a note in the website that is outside, not just have it open and that poor ppl that have never been in pools get in there too get a disease.
Food way to expensive for what it's worth.
The pool table and ping pong need to be replaced, to old, holes, and tables were unbalanced. Just do yourself a favor and do not go there, spend your money somewhere else.

john was extremely helphul and courteous

Cons:

at the time of booking the breakfast was include, but on the reseevation it was not. we ended paying for breakfast, and also I have to be careful because Booking charge fir pets when I did not had any pets. John corrected this and drop the charges. I dis not loke the policy that the entire booking will be charged in case of no show. It is disgusting that booking will not give anothecoption to travelers. finnally I was thinking i have a good deal by making the reservation thru booking but I found that the hotel had better deals that we learned while there. I did not loke the fact that the hotel does not have hot water on the lavabos. shaving with cold water was not pleasant. I will never book again this hotel, neither use booking.com to get good deals. very dissapointed.
