The location and staff were great and breakfast was lovely
Room was a little tired and dated
Staff were all lovely, especially bar staff
Reasonably priced accommodation for a one night stay to attend a family birthday party. Clean room, well presented.
En suite bathroom is in need of a refurb. Bad mould on the shower screen, a broken tap on the wash basin and broken toilet roll holder. Our room was Oak.
Breakfast was good.
The noise in the room felt we were on a boat with noisy engines! Wouldn’t advise this room for a good night’s sleep or a view..pretty dismal. One pillow per person was rather mean and my husband prefers sleeping with 2. Only one set of towels provided. The toilet cistern was on fill up all night!
It was perfect for me and my team whilst working locally
Nothing
Beautiful location, room clean and comfortable, food exceptional, and a special mention to Mark who was a fantastic host in the Restaurant and Bar.
Nothing, everything was excellent
Went for an evening meal with friends on Thursday and I have to say I was very impressed
The food portions were very generous and good quality
Having worked in the industry for many years I have to say the service was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The young lady looking after our table was amazing she was able to answer all our questions about the menu and drinks and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
Its very out dated and needs a face lift.
The bathrooms always smell awful.
I won't be staying here again, it is grim.
Dispite the looks and the very quite restaurant the food choice is vast. And surprisingly the food was ok, but there is no atmosphere.
Breakfast was superb, good room and bath
It had been a while since we last visited the Treebridge Hotel. We had booked the restaurant for a family meal. The food was nice good portions, after our meal we tried to order desserts we had to wait 25 minutes for someone to take our order. When the desserts came to our table, the passion fruit cheese cake base was so thick that we had to really smash into it to break it down. The appearance of the restaurant is very old and dated, our chairs on our table were very grubby, the patio door leading out to the car park, paint work was very dirty, the cables running around the ceiling had been painted that many times, they should be either chased into the ceiling or hidden behind trunking. I think it is time for the restaurant to have a massive face-lift. Will we return not until refurbishments have been carried out, especially when we have the Whinstone View and Miller & Carter close by
Ambience was good as was location. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
No lift to 2nd floor and low beam on stairs with no warning. Bathroom had little shelving space and base of shower screen was filthy.
Popped up here for a meal weather was nice so we sat outside and the table is missing it glass top so couldn’t safely put a pint on their because it was all wobbly and then I got a bit of a thing from the table up my fingernail the smell emanating from the kitchen. This evening was not pleasant. It was smelling very strongly of dirty cooking oil commonly found in cheap to eat places and when you go in your clothes come out wreaking of that dirty oil smell in fact I could even taste the dirty oil on my chips.
The room was beautiful, staff were friendly and the restaurant was pretty good
Our room was freezing, radiator only got slightly lukewarm at the bottom and although we reported this to reception there was no improvement during the rest of our stay.
The bed was not at all supportive and I had a dreadful backache by the time we left
