The staff are wonderful! Jona and Besi are the best! The view was wonderful. Breakfast was served just outside our room so we had an incredible view to enjoy our breakfast which was always good. I would definitely stay there again just be careful what room I booked.
I did not realize the incredibly small size of the room I booked. It was so small that if you opened a hard sided suitcase it was difficult to move around in the room. And it was a room for two so almost impossible. The other rooms were fine but this one is not. Thank goodness a larger room was available.
I stayed at Chic Hotel Santorini for just one night, but it truly exceeded all my expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, stylish, and offering absolutely breathtaking views.
A special mention goes to Jona at reception, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. She made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. To top it all off, I was surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a suite with my very own heated jacuzzi. It was such a thoughtful gesture, especially as it was the end of the season and they really didn’t have to do that.
That small act of kindness made my short stay even more special. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I can’t recommend Chic Hotel Santorini highly enough, perfect service, beautiful rooms, and amazing staff. I’ll definitely be back!
The hotel is a pretty stripped back affair - no bar, no restaurant, etc - so it needs few staff. All those that worked there were amazing, but special mention for Jona, for whom nothing was too much trouble and always with a genuine smile. You could have breakfast pretty much when you wanted it, from a pick list the night before, and she or someone else would set a table by your room at that time.
The rooms all have some degree of privacy, but there are also communal areas that anyone can use, and the sun deck is pretty amazing, as is, of course, the sunset from it. The location and layout is hard to visualise from pictures, but it works very well. Firostefani is a good base, because it's between the noisier, busier areas of Firo and Imerovigli, but there are still plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk.
The plunge/infinity pool - OMG, the water was cold. I know it was October, but nevertheless, how was it so much colder than the air temperature?
Unbelievable views!!! Staff were very helpful and accommodating!!
Same breakfast every day.
The stunning view and Joana was lovely at reception. Great location and view with a vibe that's just mesmerising
The location and breakfast are awesome
Everything was great
Chic has an amazing view of the sea since it’s built in to the cliffs. Every night we watched spectacular sunsets from our terrace then walked up to the promenade to any one of many restaurants for dinner.
The room was large and comfortable with a king size bed designer lighting, as well as a n extra bed for guests built into the wall that we used as a sofa. The space was separated into 2 areas 1) the main sleeping area and 2) the spa area with a jacuzzi, shower, closet, ant toilet.
Finally - a special thanks to Jona and Démet ri, the staff at Chic. There was absolutely nothing they would not do to assist or improve our stay. They truly enhanced our experience,
It was a bit challenging to find
Great breakfast and the glass break around the loungers.
Il posto più bello dove abbia mai dormito, un sogno in tutti i sensi.
La vista di fronte al letto quando ti alzi, gli spazi esterni di cui si può usufruire godendosi il panorama. Se volete staccare la spina dal mondo andateci.
Amazing caldera view location in Fira. Exceptional location with proximity to Fira dining, bus station and Oia walk
The location offered amazing views and was very close to great restaurants and the central town of Fira, with lots of shops, etc. Breakfast was quite good and was served to our own private table in front of our room. Also the people serving were very friendly and helpful.
The room had several issues - the bathroom was about a 25cm step down (very dangerous esp. at night); the only mirror was in the bathroom and was mounted tilting down, so I had to stoop to use it; and worst of all, the door did not seal properly, it rattled with the wind and our last night there it rained and water came in under the door and made a big puddle in the room. The room was advertised as a “cave” so it was not surprising that there were no real windows (except in the door), but I did not enjoy not having windows.
