There was a lot of problem with this hotel the majority of which although
I’m not happy with I can understand:
Breakfast was basic, no variety and without exception never hot. There
was very low occupancy so I kind of understood however they could do
better.
It would have been nice to have an option of an evening meal as this is
supposed to be a 4 star hotel not a glorified B&B, this should be made a
lot clearer in your listing.
The room is big but in need of an upgrade the furniture it is very
chipped and tired. The room is sparsely furnished and not
comfortable. There was no plugs in the bath or sink.
I can forgive most of there’s shortcoming’s as Greece is a county with a
lot of financial problems however I can not forgive the issue the swimming
pool.
The main reason I booked this hotel was it had a good sized pool and I
knew it was going to be hot in Greece. My wife is a keen swimmer and we
enjoyed the pool for the first few days. One morning we noticed the staff
were removing most of the sun loungers away from the pool but thought
nothing of it. On the Sunday morning we were walking passed the reception
for a swim when we were stopped by a member of staff who informed us that
the pool was closed, when I asked why I was told that it is the end of the
season, it was mid September and the temperature was 80-90F. There was
zero warning that the pool would be closed.
When I booked on the Booking.com platform you advertised there was a pool
and did not mention that it would close half way through our vacation, if
I was made aware I would not have booked this hotel.
This wasn’t a maintenance issue with pool and don’t consider I received
the facilities in the hotel that were advertised/ contractual agreed to.
