Grecotel LUXME Oasis at Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park

We chose this hotel for our family summer holiday after staying at another Grecotel (Marine Palace) the previous summer. Firstly this hotel is large with 4 Grecotel hotels in total offering different options. Golf carts help to move you around if desired, which made us smile. The Oasis itself is beautiful with 2 different pools and a superb water park. Alexander the lifeguard here is so friendly and fun, always making the guests smile on the yellow slide. The views from around the hotel are stunning, especially the sunsets.

The beach is stunning with a shallow and beautifully clear sea which stretches for 3 miles. We walked along this full length and there are places to stop for refreshment if desired. The hotel does have the best part of beach.

The food at the main buffet was varied every day with regular theme nights. There are lots of lunch options, the souvlaki and dessert area which provided crepes/waffles/ice cream as well as really good quality kebabs and burgers, was fastest and most convenient. The restaurant here also offers day time Greek 3 course lunch which is also really enjoyable for more formal (yet relaxed) dining.

The bars provide a really broad range of drink options with theme nights bi-weekly best cocktail menu & staff we have found in 10+ years of 4 & 5 star all inclusive hotels.
The room was spacious, cleaned immaculately and had a free mini bar and nespresso machine which was topped up daily. This was a great touch and was really appreciated when waking in the morning or getting ready to go for dinner.

For our daughter’s birthday a beautiful chocolate cake was brought to the room and we were able to arrange a balloon arrangement for a charge. This was easy to arrange. Reception are a capable and helpful team that cannot do enough to help.
This was a great choice of hotel and we will find it very hard to consider any other brand of hotel if visiting Greece, after 2 great years.

We have just spent a week at grecoland luxme oasis and what an amazing place it is.
The grounds are gorgeous, we got a sea view bungalow and the view was great, we could see Zakynthos and Kefalonia from our room.
The beach is beautiful - you would see beaches like that in Caribbean, stunning.
Food - delicious , especially ala carte restaurants.
But what makes this place great is staff, they are all so helpful, so kind and just cant do enough for you. Reception staff, beach staff, housekeeping, drivers, the ladies welcoming you in the restaurant, they are all happy and helpful.
Our daughter absolutely loved the kids club. Athina and her team are truly amazing, there are so many activities during the day and great disco at night. We knew our daughter was in good hands and she just loved spending time there and loved all the girls working there. What a team!
The only let down is wi-fi. Only available in our room. It is not something we cant live without however makes communication really difficult if you cant use it.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. We had the best time!

Don't let photos on any website deceive you - this hotel needs updating and putting a larger television in the room will not help! This was supposed to be our annual family holiday - booked three rooms for 10 people in total. One of the rooms we upgraded to a VIP room with uninterrupted sea view on a high floor. We received a confirmation from the hotel only to find out on arrival (at 10pm) that we were given a ‘cheaper’ room. The receptionist admitted that this was a “big mistake” (kept on saying this) but not really offered an alternative. Fast forward and it is now 2am and we are still looking for a solution but there is no duty manager or general manager that is available (or wants to speak to us) - only the receptionist who at this stage has my wife in tears as there seems to be no solution and no apologies either. When we started looking at staying at another hotel - we finally were offered a room just for the night with promises of a better room the following day. We ended up in a room with interrupted sea view overlooking the Greek restaurant (with airconditioning noise and smell) as we were told that no other rooms were available.

Apart from the buffet dinner each evening in the main restaurant Grecotel also offers you to have dinner at three of their “special” a la-carte restaurants. The Greek restaurant was simple food (not a lot of choice of mains) but the atmosphere was brilliant. Personally, I was looking forward to eating at the Asian restaurant which turned out to be another disappointment. Starters were lovely including pre-made sushi - for the mains all the meat except the salmon came from frozen. As a result, I ended up with a delicious thai curry sauce with deep-fried chicken instead of fresh chicken which was very disappointing. Then there is the Italian restaurant - we had a table with a lovely view outside but after an hour of waiting we still had no bread or drinks and at that point the heavens started to open. They moved us inside but that took about 20 minutes to set up. Next thing was that the food would take a little bit longer as we didn’t put our orders through in advance…. After showing them the food order we sent through including desserts for the children, we were told that they not always receive those emails? After 30 minutes the food arrived which was delicious – the question is do you have to wait almost two hours to have your meal especially if you have 4 children in the group?

I did receive an email from the hotel during my stay (I think everyone gets one) if everything was okay. I told them what has happened and received an email that they would get in touch with me. Needless to say I never heard from them… This is one of these hotels that expect guests to be happy but if they are not the hotel staff can’t cope with it. It didn’t ruin the family holiday but there was a dark cloud hanging above it.

Great facilities, especially for kids - aquapark, pools, beach. The Grecoclub kids club was wonderful, my kids loved Athina & her team and want to come back to the hotel largely thanks to their wonderful programming. The resort was almost sold out during our stay, but we never felt like it was to busy - plenty of space and peace!

A fantastic family venue with plenty of facilities. The beach is incredible. The water park is great for the whole family. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpfull

We had a wonderful week at Grecotel Olympia. Highly recommend this as a family destination. The staff were very helpful with everything we needed. The beach is perfect for kids - flat, sandy and the water is calm. The water park is an amazing bonus. Food was great. We will be coming back.

Great location, excellent welcome and extremely kind staff, especially Nikos from the reception! Food is delicious and abundant. Definitely worth the money!

The best experience at Grecoland! Grecoland for kids left the best memories and every day they were checking the calendar and planning the next adventure at the kids club. Especially want to thank Athens and her team for all the activities, it was really unique, you can see that she cares about kids and puts lots of energy in activities. For kids it was the best kids club so far. Big thanks!

Also the place of the hotel is pretty special, you kind of feel like somethere in oasis :) the best part is very long wild sandy beach, perfect for morning run or walk, on the other side a little hill for mall hike. Oh and the most beuatiful sunsets every day.

Everything was wonderful!! The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful and q were always with a smile!The food was tasty and it had plenty of choices ! Our kids had a great time at the aqua park! We will come back again!!!
