Location was great.
Rooms & shower were cery small & breakfest was bad. They should do a renowation & breakfest shoukd be better.

L emplacement est idéal, à proximité de la place Aristotelous. Toutes les chambres ont un balcon, certaines avec vue partielle sur la mer. La salle de bain est petite et la décoration un peu désuète, mais c est largement compensé par la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel, que ce soit au restaurant ou à la réception. C est la deuxième fois que je séjournais à l hôtel Amalia et j y retournerai sans hésitation.
The hotel boasts a magnificent location in Thessaloniki. It is within walking distance of all the city's famous tourist attractions. There are numerous dining and entertainment venues nearby. It is just a 1–2 minute walk to the waterfront and a 2–3 minute walk to Aristotelous Square.
We chose this hotel when booking because it listed a "Private Guest Parking" option. However, the hotel definitely does not have a parking lot. At the reception, they told us, "We don't have parking for guests; if you're lucky, you might find a spot by driving around Thessaloniki" Parking is a huge issue in Thessaloniki, and we spent hours driving around looking for a space. The claim that the hotel had parking was completely misleading. The hotel offers a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the 1960s; inside, it feels as though time has stood still since that era. The bathroom and shower were also unforgettable—though for the wrong reasons. There was barely enough space for a little child to shower alone; I had never seen such a tiny bathroom in my life. You even have to sit diagonally on the toilet because the radiator on the left leaves no room to sit straight.
Super convenient. Simple. Lovely staff. Perfect for a 2 night stay after a very long flight.
